When I first saw the Ab Crunch attachment, I was excited -- until I saw the price. Not sure why the Total Gym site sells these for such an exorbitant amount, but I am glad I was able to find it on Amazon a lot cheaper.

I purchased my Total Gym off of a TV shopping channel about 6 years ago for a really great price. It is the Total Gym Elite model and I have a lot of the extra attachments.

I have been using the Ab Crunch attachment for a few weeks now and love it! I still do crunches on my Total Gym utilizing the pulley system, but find this to be a great addition to my workout roster.

I haven't tried all the different variations yet, as some are pretty advanced. However, the two variations I'm doing are challenging.

If you have a Total Gym, this would be a great addition!

UPDATE 05/30/2012: I have been using this attachment with my Total Gym for over a year now. My husband says my abs look just as good, if not better, than the women pictured in various fitness magazines. I had my yearly physical last month. When my doctor was pressing on my abdomen, she said and I quote, "Oh my word! Your abs are as hard as a rock!" I cannot say enough good things about the Ab Crunch attachment. Easy to use, but will work your abs like nothing else, and give you really great cut and definition.

I love this item. I got it for my birthday in early July and have used it almost every day. Very easy to attach. It seems like it's a little pricey but has been worth every penny my dad spent on it. I have seen results and it's not quite been a month since I received it. Everyone who has a Total Gym needs one.

I hesitated on buying this when I purchased the Total Gym XLS but I figured I would just bite the bullet and I am so glad I did. It is really easy to attach to the machine and with just a couple minutes of use you can REALLY feel it...for days after!!! It seems like it's about a hundred times more effective and efficient than regular crunches. And it's well made and comfortable. I wish it were a little less expensive but in the end the results are worth it!

The attachments definitely do their job! i feel my abs burning when i use these. I've only had them a week, so i cant say anything about results. the only complaint i have is that they don't sit flush on the total gym 1100. I'm not sure if it has the same issue for other models. But once you put your arms on the pads and hold on, it doesn't really wobble. You can't beat the price either. It's definitely a great deal!

This does not fit all Total Gyms. I have an older model, and it is not compatible. I'm bummed as I was really looking forward to trying some crunches that didn't hurt my back. Perhaps I missed it in the description here...but I didn't know it wouldn't work until after I received it and read the small print on the product packaging.

I got the ab crunch and tried it out on my total gym machine. I had thought about getting the crunch attachment but my knees are bad and I didn't think I could kneel on the total gym without extreme pain in my knees. As I've lost some weight I can now kneel on the machine as the directions say to use the ab crunch attachment. All I can say is WOW. After just one set of 10 reps I could really feel it in my abs and stomach. I think this crunch attachment is going to really help me get rid of my belly flab. I've been exercising for a while and arms and legs were getting better but I want this stubborn belly gone. I'm confident this attachment will help. I will post another comment after I've had it a while to let other customers know how its working for me.
