I purchased this faucet to replace an eleven year old Moen of very similar design. Delta, generally speaking, makes a very dependable and well designed faucet in my experience. Here's my perspective on this model after installing it:
Positive:
i) Very easy to install: has integrated compression fittings for the standard 3/8" valve. The sprayer pops into a fitting coming from the faucet... very easy. Even more amazingly, nothing leaked on the first try (usually something does from my experience). I had to replace a leaky existing water valve for the house and also purchase a new fitting for an under the sink water filter to be hooked up which added some time to the install. Excluding those items, the removal of the old faucet and new install would of taken under two hours.
ii) Dependability: approximately every two years, I replaced the cartridge (because it leaked) and the plastic attachment pieces for the handle (they would loosen and get very sloppy) on the Moen... very inconvenient. Delta says that they test their their faucets for 5 to 10 times as many uses than are required. This could just be clever marketing, but - from the Delta faucets that I've owned in the past - they do require much less maintenance than other brands.
iii) Select functional: When you turn the Delta faucet off, it immediately stops water flow. I didn't expect this. The Moen would dribble for a couple of seconds after it was turned off. On an high arch design, the water should continue to drip to clear out the remaining water from the end of the spout... but it doesn't with the Delta. Also, the water flow is adjustable. The Moen, ever since it was new, tended to have two positions: off and full flow. With the Delta, it easily adjusts to between flows.Read more ›

This faucet set looks like it cost about twenty bucks to make. A lot of it appears to be lackluster-quality plastic (if you consider the soap dispenser, which must be ordered separately), and the metal parts are thin and don't inspire confidence as to their long-term durability. This is not a faucet set that you can order online with any degree of confidence; by all means, go and touch the set yourself. You'll be astonished at how little you're getting for your money.

Had read other reviews and was clueless in regards to the water flow/pressure (?) rating. This is the single downside of this faucet--when turning it on, the challenge is to avoid turning it on too much, as it will splash a lot, and at the same time attaining the water temperature desired. This has improved only slightly even after using it for a few months. Thankfully, our new sink is 10 inches deep so the splashing isn't usually too overwhelming--depth of sink was mentioned by at least one reviewer, and one i did check for. Still, had i a better idea of what that really meant for us, I very likely would have opted for another model with a less powerful stream, and the reason for only 4 stars. Otherwise, this is a beautiful faucet--great shape and finish, with a handspray handle that makes so much more sense than other (older?) ones i have used. The height of the faucet is great when filling pitchers, stockpots, etc. Installing the handle to the left of the faucet works well and looks more balanced than what's shown in the photo.

I really like this faucet set, but for the price some of the parts seem a little cheap. Also the handle keeps turning slightly on us and I have to readjust it (easy to do, but still). I will say in my experience Delta has been great to replace products that have issues. This faucet set does look great and functions well.

I really like my new faucet, my only negative is that I have to turn it on very low in order to keep it from spraying all over if I'm trying to rinse something off. If it's just spraying into the bottom of my sink, it's not a problem. Same thing with the sprayer as well. But it is a lovely faucet overall. The tall collar around the off/on part of the faucet has come loose a couple times (it doesn't impede the use or look of the faucet, but is just loose), which is just a clip inside that seems to come undone over time. I've had a plumber in the family who's fixed it for me once, but I can either leave it loose or play with it and fix it myself if I took the time to mess with it. I cannot speak to the ease of installing it as someone else did that for us. Would I buy it again? Hmmm, if there was nothing else similar at a comparable price, yes. If I found something else similar, I might try it instead to avoid the spray issue.

First faucet arrived poorly taped box. when installing, found out parts were missing and a piece was broken. Plumber charges $95 just to walk in door and he had to comeback when we got replacement faucet from amazon. They really need to stop sending out customer returns, not the first time this happened. I originally ordered this because it was at least $50 cheaper than the box stores, who also had to order it. But had to pay plumber twice so I didn't save anything at all. Currently cold water is leaking and waiting for plumber to get new part. Otherwise it is a beautiful faucet and Delta guarantees their products. It feels like a quality item. Not deltas fault amazon sends out other customers damaged products.
