Dishes are pretty but finish is not top quality. Some noticeable imperfections (bumps, uneven patches). I might expect some minor blemishes given the price, but a few of the dishes were really "seconds" quality, particularly because the color was uneven.

They have apparently moved factories from Germany to China. After buying Waechtersbach for nearly 20 years as my every day dishes I will have to buy something else when what I have wear out. The color is nowhere close to the same. The rich dimensional red that Waechtersbach is so famous for is now a flat orange tomato red.

I thought I was buying genuine "made in Germany" Waechtersbach dinnerware, only to discover that the "Fun Factory" products are very cheaply made in China. Waechtersbach should be ashamed to put their name on such an inferior product.

Used these for holiday meals, and made the mistake of re-heating food in the microwave. The glaze "shattered" and began to flake apart. Really sad because these plates were nice. A warning to not use them in the microwave would've been nice.

I am totally happy with these dishes (shorthand for plates, saucers, mugs and bowls). They are simple, roomy and stack well. They are not very sturdy, and will break if dropped (even from less than a foot). My solution is to not drop them (much). Very good price as well.

Although these dishes are lovely to look at and come in such a wonderful array of colors, they chip VERY easily and are quite heavy. When they become too chipped to use anymore I will buy something else.

These were exactly what I expected. Good quality and a good size. I like the cereal bowl that is deep and not shallow. The mugs are great. They are real coffee mugs and not little tea cups. We ordered these for a vacation property, but I would have these at home. I would not hesitate to buy again.
