These bulbs are actually white (~5000k). There is no blue tint to them. Construction is great. I've had them installed for over a year and they are still going strong. Not one problem.

They are not bright enough to actually use as backup lights. They are for looks only.

Buying LED's for your car is always an exercise in caution, you just have no idea of the quality. I purchased the AGT 1156 Pair LED SMD 18 LED Bulbs Brake/Stop/Back Up White bulbs to go with the AGT 1157 LED's Red I ued for my stop lights. The 1156 are my backup lights and they work just as expected, the light is as bright as the standard bulbs and have a very low energy draw. The only drawback is you can see a faint glow comming from the LED's when the car is running, but it is not enough of a current draw to register. Once the car is turned off the glow stops so its a minor nusance, which I think I can fix with a relay.1156 Pair LED SMD 18 LED Bulbs Brake/Stop/Back Up White Great Product!

Very bright, well made and easy to install. White LED light thru a yellow lens makes green, go figure but this has happened with every "white" LED ive installed that shines thru a yellow lens.

The colour is nice, VERY WHITE! I'm not too fond of the lack of brightness though. I dropped these into my Black Mercedes C250 2014 and granted these are NOT ERROR FREE, I can live with the minor nag it gives once in a while. It looks AMAZING however it is LACKING in brightness. DO NOT use these for actual reverse lights as my rear-view camera actually showed more with the OEM halogens than these do. My side mirrors are nearly pitch black after changing these and reversing into a parking spot. It simply isn't worth risking anybody's safety.
