These work really well. The top is a bit hard to get off, which isn't a bad thing, as it's not going to leave the tip exposed or prone to falling out. The "stored" crayon points sort of "lock in", and feel secure. I love these for the Operation Christmas Child boxes I'm packing.

The novelty of this product is the only good thing. The crayon pieces are hard to get back bin without knocking others out. If one is missing, many turn and fall out....same problem if one breaks. Cute for party favors... but otherwise not great.

Nice idea but These are not kids friendly. You have to change little crayons by hand which is hard for little hands and kids. Also a few were broken out of the package. I thought these would be good for traveling, but not really good product.

Bought these as stocking stuffers and was disappointed. The colored pencil pieces are held in place in the inner plastic chamber by spongy packing-type material and sliding pieces in and out to change out the color at the tip isn't as easy as it should be (pulling or pushing one piece dislodges its neighbor pieces). They were very inexpensive though, so I don't know what I expected.

I thought I had found the perfect solution to bags, and boxes of old, unused crayons. Our youth group liked the colors, however, the younger children had trouble with the removeable tips and replacing tips not in use. Those kids wound up with a twisted mess, but the older kids 10+ enjoyed the New Thing.

We are sending 5 dozen to our mission to Ghana. Hope those kids enjoy them and they pass the blessing on,

the Kids really like these, they are a bit hard to get the colors back in (4-5 year olds) but all in all it's a cute product and made an excellent party favor. The kids like that there are multiple color choices and could switch it out themselves. They even used the top storage part to color with two at a time. This is a good buy and I would recommend. If my four year old can do it, yours can too!

These are poorly designed. It is difficult for an adult to change the colored tips -- and impossible for a child to remove and insert. The colors are not vivid. You can hardly see what color you have used. The idea sounded great, but in actuality, they are worthless. I am sure that all of the points would be lost in nothing flat. I will not give these to my nieces and nephews. Very disappointing.
