It's good for a permanent installation but not for mobile

This was a good buy becasue it was cheap and exatly what I was looking for but it didn't really stand up to the daily use of connecting my ipod to my car stereo all day. Perhaps in a permanent installation this will work but for plugging and unplugging excessively all day, it died after a year. I could be that I used it too excessively but if that's what your looking for, this may not be the cable for you, otherwise it worked well.

Sound great, like you'd expect from Hosa. Forget consumer traps like Monster Cable. Hosa cables are great and are used by real performance musicians, not home hobbyists with too much money :)
