If you are buying this valve you are probably replacing one that has broken which is why I bought it. It is a straight forward replacement for my valve that cracked after freezing because it wasn't properly drained. Fits and works just like the original.

The item we received is the correct one and was shipped quickly. However we were disappointed to see that it was a used part. It has evidence of corrosion that had been cleaned and other obvious signs of prior use. The part is in good enough shape so we'll use it but we were not expecting to get a used part.
