As this is the only one I have used so far. My house has an open floor plan and perhaps that's why I ended up using more than half of the jug for just 2 occasions lasting 1.5 hrs each. So the cost does add up for me, pretty quickly. I'm in search of a comparable cheaper one (no luck so far). I'm also wary of the haze that would leave a residue. So far none on my carpeted area. In the basement where I used it once, a slight stickiness on the floor which went away eventually. When used it does impact the visibility slightly and did trip the smoke alarms couple of times so I'm running the haze machine on low dose (a balancing act as the light beams/lasers dont have that wow factor without optimal haze)

Coming to the awesome part, I never realized how frickin awesome my DJ lights look in this haze :-) I still remember the first time I turned it on - my jaw dropped and I was grinning ear to ear because of its awesomeness!!! :-)

I have a Chauvet hurricane 2 so-called haze machine. The instructions show repeatedly that it will damage the Chauvet Hurticane 2 machine to use fluid other than than specifically designated for use in the Hurricane 2 [so-called] hazer. The stuff I received shows no indication on the label that it is satisfactory for use in a hurricane 2 so-called haze machine. So if I use the stuff and it ruins the Shawe her cane to machine as Shawe themselves have cautioned against i'm out a gallon of worthless hays fluid and I'm stuck with a worthless so called his machine.

Amazon no longer provides a provision to ask this seller questions so I hope through this review and for all of us reading this that Shawe will confirm in writing is that the stuff they claim to be safe to use in that hurricane to so-called his machine is indeed safe to use it without fear of harming the hurricane 2 so called haze machine. I do not mind buying this product if it works in the Chauvet hurricane 2 so-called haze machine but I do not want to risk violating the very strict terms of the Chauvet warranty policy and using this so-called authorized fluid in their so called haze machine is a clear violation of their warranty agreement. I did not want to void the warranty on my $300 the so-called his or machine by being tricked into using the wrong so called hazer juice.

I'm stuck with a gallon of worthless hazer juice. I realize now that companies like Shawe an American DJ by the same crap that we could all buy through alibaba but they add some minor branding do it in order to charge slightly higher prices than you would get ordering directly from China. And cheap tricks like selling you the wrong hazer fluid that's voiding the warranty are just disgusting.Read more ›

Chauvet makes a good product however the site I purchased this fluid through stated this fluid works in ANY hazer, which simply isn't true. We had very little haze produced. Got our regular haze shipped in (a bit more expensive...until I bought the 55 gallon drum) and we're once again rockin'!!! My advice, stick to what your manufacturer recommends.

I use this in my Haze 2 and it works great. I took off 2 stars because of the lack of packing material in the box. The cap on the bottle had worked its way off and the only thing keeping the fluid from leaking everywhere was the thin metallic freshness seal. Thank goodness that is stronger than it looks.

Will still buy again however because of ease of order.

Puts out a nice haze that hangs for quite awhile. I have a little trouble getting the haze level just right, but that's an issue with the hurricane 2 hazer, not the fluid.
