A solid four stars for a fantastic foaming container--the reason I purchased this item. The soap itself has a very powerful fragrance. Just not for me. I was counting down the days til the soap was gone and I could refill with my own mix (about one tablespoon of lavender castile soap plus about 8 oz. of water to fill, plus a scant drop of food coloring to make it pretty). Any type of liquid soap can be diluted in this way to fill a foamer.

I'm now buying a second set of these bottles for my husband's studio.

* I love the foam: it saves the lathering in hand washing and makes it easier
* Smell: other reviewers don't like it, but I have found the soap has a pleasant and subtle smell, definitely not too strong
* Cheap: same base price as the store, except no tax and no drive to the store; better deal to use Amazon
* Quick delivery, no problems
* Bottle / dispenser is simple but solid (not flimsy)
* Has anti-bacterial (a pro for some, a con for others)

Cons:
* Nothing really comes to mind

I've been a fan of Method Hand Wash for a while, and I've never used this scent/flavour. It's a nice light smell, slightly of grapefruit and 'waterfall', whatever that is. I find it less nauseating than most other typical soap scents like apple or pomegranate. The packaging is very nice and the soap lasts a long time.

Want a smell that is not your conventional lemon citrus? Then give the juicy pear a try. It's distinctive enough to beat the kitchen odor, yet pleasant and not overwhelming. I'm trying to find a refill but with no luck, what a shame.

To be fair, this works just fine as soap and my husband likes it. I bought the Juicy Pear because I use some dish detergent that's pear scented and I like it. But the fragrance of this soap literally makes me sick and I have to leave the room when my husband uses it to wash his hands.

I have Method Lavender soap in my bathroom and I don't have this reaction to it at all, so I can only conclude my reaction is due to something used in the fragrance and not in the soap itself.

The waterfall scent is way too strong, and smells like old lady perfume. If I wasn't so cheap I'd throw it away, because I hate the smell on my hands. Especially for my kids, who don't rinse very well, the smell is overwhemlimg.

The nice looking (and excellent working) dispensers of these Methods hand soaps are what first attracted us to the product line. Sea Minerals, Juicy Pear, Hibiscus Flower, Blue Poppy and others... the sleek bottle and the excellent colors made it easy to match up with colors in places like our guest bathroom, kitchen and master bath.

Not only is the price found here very reasonable, especially since the big refill bags are available on Amazon too, but the soap smells nice, suds and cleans nicely, and rinses off well.

From time-to-time we have purchased Method locally when a great 2-for-1 type sale appeared, but Method soap seems harder to find around here these days and those great deals are non-existent... so we are very glad to still be able easily get it on Amazon for a good price and with quick delivery.

Can happily say that we've decided to stick with Method from now on too; we recently purchased a couple bottles of soft soap gel and, as compared to Method, that product fails. That soap plopped out of its dispenser in a big gel blob, had no sudsing ability to it at all, then would just slid off down the drain with the first hint of water. Yuck. Glad we found Method.

If you are looking for a well presented hand soap of this type, we recommend Method. This stuff works, smells good and has a great dispenser.

Go for it.

Wonderful scent. Good cleaning action, even when my hands are oily or really dirty. Too bad the scent has been discontinued from bulk refills.

I used to refill my dispensers (over 2 years old, now) from the bulk refills, but I recently found out that this scent was discontinued.
