The tools to open your iPod are awesome. I have had to open my iPod various times for different reasons and they have held up pretty well. I bought these to work on my iPod 5th gen. My only complaint is that the screwdrivers are NOT the correct size for an iPod 5th gen. They are way too big. I solved this by going to the dollar store and getting a small screwdriver set. I found the correct size and was able to replace the headphone jack and front cover. If you need to open your iPod, these tools are for you. But, if you need to remove the screws inside, know that the ones provided are too large.

I bought this kit some weeks ago to fix an ipod classic and I'm very satified with them, the screwdrivers are nice the only thing I have to say against them is that they are not magnetized so you have to put the screws by yourself and as the screws you're will be using this tools are tiny you have to patient.

The plastic blades broke in less that 5min while I was trying to open the ipod so that would be another negative aspect of it, but apart of it this tool kit was very useful

Bought this to take my iPod 6th gen apart. Took forever to get here. What you get are 2 pry tools, a torx, a phillips and 2 really thick "guitar picks". The pry tools disintegrated upon contact with the ipod...I wish I was making that up, they grinded down the second I tried to make contact. The Torx and the phillips are good, but the "guitar picks" are really not needed, a putty knife would have sufficed. One thing I picked up on when performing this service was that we probably REALLY should not be opening these things. I service servers and data storage for a living and I found this challenging using these tools, I guess you get what you pay for with ow grade plastic tools.

The large blue plastic tool looked like it was already used and part of the prying edge was worn down. The edge of the smaller pry tool broke while opening my iPod. The rest of the plastic tools where very soft. The two screw drivers work great. The kit is good for a one time use, got the job done.

I did not receive the same tools shown is the picture. The kit came with three screw drivers, flat head, Phillips and Torx, and only one case opening tool. It also came with a suction cup and key ring attachment. The case opener tool broke on my first attempt at getting it in the seem of my iPod 4th gen case. I was still able to force the case open using the tool however, it continued to break as I was opening the case. It will not work if I need to open the case again The Torx screwdriver that came in the kit was too small. Fortunately I had a Craftsman Torx screwdriver that did fit. The guitar pick type tools also broke when I tried to use them to hold the case open as I was starting. I work with computer equipment all the time and I am not heavy handed. These tools are just flat out poor quality. Look for a kit that has sturdier tools.

Pretty much ever part of this kit got destroyed when I used it. I won't be able to use the plastic bits again. It didn't come with the suction cup, one of the screw drivers, or the paperclip looking thing. It got the job done, but it can only be used once.

Got these to help my daughter to replace her broken iTouch screen and they were really handy. The plastic tools are nice since they won't scratch the device, but in doing so their plastic is kinda soft - it can be easy to damage the plastic ool if you're not careful.
