I have found that it is very handy. It sped up my button hole layout. Normally it takes me about 15 to layout button holes on shirts and another 5 for the button placement. My time was cut by 2/3's. The only thing I do not like was that it is easily bent.

I will have to treat this gizmo with kid gloves to make sure it doesn't get bent. That said, it is an invaluable tool for marking buttons, spacing scallops on quilt edges, making sure my brownies are all cut the same size, spacing curtain rings, planting seeds evenly, and so on and so on and so on.

I have never seem this before and after fiddling with buttonhole placement knew that I had to have it. This ingenious device is a fantastic item that saves measuring, marking and pinning....no more trying to mark with chalk and pins. I used it on a dark shirt that I tried marking with chalk that was hard to see and wow what a time saver. I used this and quilting tape for my marking and it was a breeze to adjust.. I think everyone who sews should have one.

This product is nice to have if you make clothes, whether they are doll clothes with buttons or clothes for the family. It makes measuring for perfect placement of buttons and buttonholes. I used to use the yardstick and mark inches, but this works better and folds for easy storage.

This tool makes even spacing of buttonholes quick and easy. Once you determine how many buttonholes you want, open it up and align it to the fabric. The buttonholes will be evenly spaced, and it has a hole and measuring marks on each section for marking the fabric.

This is an awesome tool. Very helpful I only wish it was a little longer so i could space the buttons out a little more and also a little sturdier would be nice but overall a super helpful tool.
