This is my go to snack bag. We have several brands and I prefer the Kushies mostly for the fabric. Its soft and cleans well and the velcro has held up very well. I have a Lunchskins bag too and I'm afraid the velcro is going to rip one of these days as the fabric is really stiff and some of the seams are unraveling already. The Kushies seems like it will hold up better. I ordered two more of these and the small snack size too. Beware that the picture is misleading. The medium bag is a square sandwich size bag and the photo shows the small bag instead.

I was unsure what size I wanted to get because this was my first replacement towards disposable plastic zip-lock bags (yay!). I went with the largest size they had because the bigger the better, right? There was no harm in getting a size too big, but too small would have a problem fitting my sandwiches.

When I got it, it was the right size for me. I'm a high school student who brings a simple lunch to school: a regular sized sandwich, a capri sun, and perhaps a bag of chips or dried fruit. Those three things all fit snugly into the Kushies and I was so satisfied.

If you're contemplating your choice based on the reviews that say it barely holds anything, just get the largest size possible. It won't hurt you. After all, a little extra room doesn't hurt.

By the way, the color is gorgeous and the material shows potential to endure the next four years of college. Definitely machine-washable and I recommend, if putting a sandwich in, you should saran wrap it first. That's what I do to keep it clean!

Recently I started freaking out about how much trash we create in the course of a year. Tried to make a few simple changes, including replacing disposable Ziploc-type bags with these reusable snack bags. I picked up a handful of different brands and sizes here and there, and these Kushies snack bags are my favorites by far. Kushies may lack the cute designs of some other brands, but the fabric is SO much softer and nicer. We mostly use this for dry items like pretzels or nuts, so haven't had to wash it often. But when we do, just a quick wash with regular dish soap and a dry in the dish rack does just fine. Only reason it's a 4-star item for me is that my preschooler finds the velcro closure on this one a little hard to open. Would be 5-star for grownups. Seriously, if you're looking into reusable bags like this (and you should!), pick the Kushies brand. You'll be happy you did.

I purchased this snack bag along with 2 other brands. This was by far my favorite. I likedd the fact that it was easy to clean and the velcro closure worked very well. I will say that you cannot really keep chips or the like in the bag overnight because they will get stale. But, since I make my lunch in the morning usually, this has not been a problem. I recommend this product.

These are great! I've been using them for a couple of weeks now and no problems. Easy to wash out, easy to fit sandwiches, etc. in, and no food stuck in the velcro (which was my big worry!!). I don't think I would put something juicy in there, it doesn't close air or water tight, but works for school lunches just great.
