The manufacturer claims that this stuffed animal is suited for children of all ages, but it turns out that parts of the fur easily come off and hence pose a choking hazard for infants. If you get this for your baby, make sure that you wash it first and pull out all the lose fibers.

Actually, my grand-nephew love it more! He sleeps with it every night, eats breakfast with it, carries it around all day. He's in love with his puppy! This is so well-made that even though I gave it to him 6 months ago, that big red bow is still on it and looks just as good as the day I gave it to him! And he's only a year and a half old, so you know he's not particularly careful with it! This was one of the softest, squishiest, stuffed animals I've ever seen... I'm so glad I bought it for him!! A great gift!

My daughter got this pup shortly after she was born and has been her constant companion since. "Arf" is her lovey; her security. Since being her daily partner for almost three years, he has definitely gotten floppier and less defined. The beads have stayed put in each of the feet and seem to be weighted all the same, though the stuffing in the legs has more or less migrated upward to the body. The same can be said for the ears. There have never been any seams that have separated or holes or fur that sheds from it. The eyes have stayed secure and I never had any fear that she would somehow bite them off. The hair isn't silky anymore but still hasn't become matted and is still very, very soft after numerous washes. The bow is still shiny, sewn on in permanent perfection. Though many of these seem like negatives, on the contrary, this is what makes this pup fantastic. It is great as a brand-new toy and even better after its been loved. It is durable, washable, lovable, and the perfect size for my daughter to carry around with her and then to bed. She even wants her 3rd birthday to have an Arf theme. Time to flex my creative muscles! I plan on purchasing another one to put away for when she has kids.

I bought this with a two year old in mind and based on the recommendations that it could be laundered. He as well as his siblings loved it.The dog is adorable and the feet are sturdy enough to add support when placed in a sitting position. Now I have to order a few more for the other children in the family.

I changed out the bow for a bandanna to match our dog's, and sent it off. Our nephew loved this dog, and he's extremely soft and cuddly. I would definitely order another one of these.

I ordered 2. One for me and one sent for my adult daughters birthday as a "smile" surprise! I was embarrassed! I told her that it is pictured with a sweet smile and that is why I bought them. There is NO black sewn threads making a smile at all! The face is not even the same, it's just close.
It is VERY soft though! So it's nice for toddlers anyway.
