great design. love the mechanical design to attach to the vents unlike the airframe. only 1 problem, it's too small for a larger android smartphone!!!!! this is limited to just iphones!!! to the maker of this product, MAKE A BIGGER ONE! it costs you the same to make a bigger production mold of this product, but you will have the other 50% of the smartphone market!

I have an iphone 5s, and it fits in here perfectly. I recommend gluing the go-xt to the dash with the peel-and-stick adhesive provided. I believe this improves safe driving. Makes it so much easier to use GPS map apps when your phone is at the bottom of your field of view, just like a Garmin. Much safer in my opinion if you get a call while driving, just a quick glance tells you who it is instead of trying to get your phone out of your pocket or purse. Hands free phone call also much easier with the phone close to eye level. I can just say "hey Siri" and call (although I avoid calling unless urgent). Little clips are provided for clipping to air vents, but I would only use those if you will be using this in rental cars, or many different cars. If you have two cars, just buy two!

I use it with an iPhone 5 and it's the best car holder I have tried. Easy to press in and out even with a case, and the phone is held very securely.

I wish this would fit a moderately-sized phone like iPhone 6. Even without a case they don't fit a 6.

So the item holds my iPhone 5 well. But my issue with this product is that the stupid clips for the vent are stupidly hard to get off. Like I almost wish I didn't attempt to put this on. For that, I don't like it.

Loved this phone holder for my iPhone 5. We've been through several other brands over the years and have been totally satisfied with this product. However, we just upgraded our phones and it doesn't expand wide enough to hold the iPhone 6 :(

This is by far the best phone holder. While I had the iPhone 5, I used it daily and was always pleased. The phone holder was very sturdy, especially because of the green cushions. I didn't struggle taking my phone out of it as well. The phone holder was easy to put on and take off from the vent as well. It also never fell off the vent.

It was when got the iPhone 6 Plus, I really realized how much I appreciated this holder and missed it. For iPhone 6 users: the phone fits perfectly without any difficulty! After getting the iPhone 6 Plus, I went through many different phone holders and have been disappointed by all of them. All of them were poorly designed.

They should create the same design for iPhone 6 Plus and the Galaxy Note as well! I would definitely purchase it for my iPhone 6 Plus!

This works great with the iPhone 5. I have it in an Otterbox Defender case. It's mounted on my dash with the doublesided sticky tape. I was worried that the tape wouldn't hold since the summer heat would loosen the tape but it works wonders. I did remove the case and tried it with just the phone but the phone was too slippery and kept falling out of the holder.

The mount is adjustable for the width of the phone but the iPhone 5 size is maxed out. So a larger fitting phone won't fit. It would need a more narrow phone. I highly recommend - it's cheap and works great.

Love this holder. Unfortunately I've changed phones and it doesn't fit my Samsung Galaxy 5. I used the dash mount portion and it's stayed on my dash for 2 years with the tape they provided. I used rubbing alcohol to clean dash before applying. I wish they made another one exactly like this one to accommodate the size of my new phone! It misses the new size by 1/4" and no way to modify it.
