I love these glasses! For one, when I bought the VIZIO E3D420VX 42 Inch Class Theater 3D LCD HDTV with VIZIO Internet Apps, it came with 2 pairs of glasses--this pair and a "standard" pair. This pair (which, when it came with my TV, is called the premium pair) just fit great and feel extremely comfortable. They're plenty big for those of us who wear prescription glasses, and I mean big in a good way. They go over your glasses nearly perfectly so (unlike realD theater glasses) you can rarely physically tell that you've got 2 pairs of glasses on. And when you're not wearing prescription glasses, they feel fine too. In fact they're so light that when just wearing the 3D glasses it doesn't feel like you're wearing anything at all.

Second, I love that I can take these to the theater so I don't have to wear the realD glasses--which are always too tight and stiff to comfortably wear over my prescription glasses (and big head). I took these Vizio glasses when I went to see Pirates 4 at a realD theater and they worked PERFECTLY.

I'll be buying a couple sets of these for friends and family, which seems insane because I could probably buy 3 sets of these for LESS than a single pair of the Active shutter glasses! Hah! I haven't tried active shutter glasses, and I don't think I'd want to based on what I've heard. Maybe active-shutter are full HD but honestly, the (passive) theater 3D by Vizio doesn't seem any less HD than a typical Blu Ray.

These glasses look like regular sunglasses, the disign is very nice and they are lightweight and confortable to wear. The 3D on the 65" Vizio XVT3D650SV is incredible, the best i have seen in any 3D TV. This two-pack comes with two convenient microfiber bags. Excellent value package!!!!

What can I say? I haven't tried many passive 3D glasses, but I like how these fit and feel compared to those I have tried -- the LGs and the RealD ones from the movie theaters. And compared to active shutter types, I wouldn't ever think to go back to active! After a few minutes you wont even realize you're wearing glasses at all - they are very light. The lenses are also sturdy enough to be able to take repeated cleanings with the included microfiber cloth... to get the kids' fingerprints off!

I recently puchased a Vizio passive 3D TV, and I was looking for the perfect pair of 3D glasses to accompany it, so naturally, I purchased the Vizio glasses thinking that they would be the best choice. I love the look of the glasses, but unfortunately, they are a bit uncomfortable for me. In addition, they did not come with the carrying/cleaning pouch mentioned in the description.

Although the glasses work well, they suffer from the same issue as most other passive 3D glasses that I have tried. The frames are glossy black which causes them to reflect a small amount of light coming from the screen which can be annoying when viewing in a dark room. This issue seems to be pretty common among brands of passive 3D glasses, so it's more of an industry problem than anything else.

As an alternative, I highly recommend the True Depth 3D brand of glasses. They are not as stylish as the Vizio glasses, but the lenses are slightly larger providing a better field of view and the frames are matte black, so they do not reflect any light coming from the screen.

I wanted to experience a 3d movie without the added faults found in "free" glassed given out at theaters and these surpass satisfaction. I actually went to see Thor in 3D and almost walked out due to the glasses that I used that were free. Later that night I bought the Vizio from Amazon and have been very pleased. I take my new glasses all the time and I never have to worry about glare and scratches. Highly recommend.

I purchased a Vizio Theater 3D TV and it came with one pair of these glasses, and a pair of theater style glasses. They both fit better than the Real3D glasses you get in the theaters, probably due to the longer ear pieces. This particular type are FANTASTIC if you wear priscription glass (or have a big head). After keeping a few glasses from the movie theater, and comparing them to the XPG202, I decided that the XPG202 glasses are more than worth the price for comfort alone.
There's no "ghosting" or crosstalk that I've noticed while watching 3D bluray movies, or playing 3D games on my Playstation 3. If you own, or are thinking of owning a Vizio Theater 3D TV (which is more than worth the $648 I paid for it), these glasses should be at the top of your accessories list!
I'm having to order at least 4 more for our Movie Nights at home.. Gotta make sure that everyone can partake :)

I've seen the prices for these go up and down all the time on Amazon. The best price I've seen them, and purchased them for, is about 8 bucks a pop. It's been difficult to find these in retail stores. So grab them when the price is right for you!
