    My 18 month old is now a size 4 in regular shoes as she was measured at Stride Rite. I thought I would get a size five for our summer vacation a month from now considering she grows so fast. I am retuning the 5 and I am hoping the 4 does fit. If your child is on the bigger side though this may be a different outcome. My daughter is on the smaller side. Hope this helps!

    These shoes fit my daughter as expected, but they have sharp insoles that actually cut/blistered her feet on both sides in the exact same place. What is even worse is that I returned them noting the injury they caused and they refunded part of my purchase price, but held 20% for restocking! They apparently intend to resell the very same defective product that caused open wounds on my child's feet. Mad about the injury, but stunned they would try to resell/restock this item.

    I can't comment on how well they work just yet, but I did want to comment on sizing in case it helps someone else. I read a review where someone mentioned their child wore a size 5.5, so they sized up to 6 and it worked perfectly.

    Well my child wears size 5.5 at Stride Rite, I bought the 6, and it's much too big! My daughter definitely has chubby, thick feet, and I think water shoes should fit snugly, but these were loose on her and definitely too long. I bought a size 5 and can update my review when it arrives. They seem to be of decent quality, look pretty nice, and have a good grip, so I decided to keep the size 6 for the future anyway.

    And the royal blue color is beautiful! Who says girls have to wear pink??

    I got the smallest size available (size 4) for my 9-month old and they are way too big and wide for her. She is fitting into size 3 and some size 4s in regular shoes so I thought these would work in a month or two but they look like mini adult shoes and not designed for babies/toddlers with small narrow feet.

    We bought these shoes to wear on a vacation at the lake and for our girls to use at splash pads. They fit perfectly, yet were a little hard to get on my kids. The quality is very poor. After a week of use they are destroyed; there is a hole on one side where the shoe upper meets the plastic bottom. There are runs in the mesh upper part. We planned on keeping these to use at the beach and splash pads, but I'm not sure how many more uses we will get out of them. we bought them before 4th of July, used them for a week and then only 2 other times.

    For the price, these are excellent, and generally serve their purpose. We ordered them in size 5 for our 12-month old son (who is 90% in both length and weight). My only complaints thus far would be: i) difficult to put on (although at least it seems there is no risk of them slipping off), ii) These do seem to take at least overnight before feeling dry. I had hoped that "swim shoes" would be quick drying.

    overall I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to others rather than spending 3x the amount on a different brand.

    ok the sizing is way off if you go by iPlays sizing info. My daughter is 12 months and if I were to go by their sizing then I would have gotten a size 6? Good thing I read and read the reviews. Her foot measures 4.25 so I got the size 4 and they are slightly big but not too bad. So I would just go by the foot measurement. Measure 5 inches get the size 5 measure 6 inches get size 6 and so on.

    These shoes are great! They are snug, so a little difficult to get on, but they won't slip around on baby's foot when they get wet. We took them to the beach for three days and they still look and fit very good. I may buy the next size up for the end of the summer.
