This is probably one of the best weight sets I've had in the 5yrs I've been lifting! I would recommend this set to anybody (especially for people who have a home gym). Rubberized weights are great for indoor use! Great Packaging as well. Only problems with this product I experienced was 1. It wasn't delivered on time,, and 2. It did not come with clamps to secure the weights as shown in the picture! Other than that I give the actual product a 5 star rating!!

I'm very happy with my XMark Premium Rubber Coated Olympic Weights. They are well crafted and durable. The grip handles on them make changing weights much easier. The handles also allow me to use the weights for shoulder-shruggs and other arm/shoulder exercises.

My problem with these are the odor. I have only kept these because I believe the odor will dissipate over time. It's been a month and the smell is still in my house. I had left cotton clothes in the area with these weights and that awful smell absorbed into the clothes. Had to rehash all of them. Don't believe the hype about odor free.

By the condition of the packages I assume that I received a combination of 'old stock', and 'returned' merchandise. Boxed weights are likely candidates to get beat up, in the shipping process, but some of the merchandise, obviously, had been handled, before and not re-packaged in a professional way. Once the vendor is paid I doubt feedback has any effect on future practices. That's why merchandise gets shipped out, this way, in the first place. I think consumers should be informed, when shopping, whether what they're buying is factory sealed, brand new, new stock. Let me decide if I should buy returns or stock older than a year. Most of the merchandise was fine, negating the need for a return, and the quality is decent. But don't hesitate to let Amazon and vendors know if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase. I feel my transaction was handled in a shabby all too professional, business as usual, whatever you can get away with, manner.
