This is a very nice lampshade. I have an oriental lamp that the shade that came with it was deteriorating. I've had it for years and just didn't want the hassle of trying to find an appropriate shade to compliment the beauty of the lamp, then I found this one and it is great, perfectly made, but just different than the one I had. It looks really great and the memories of my old lamp shade are diminishing by the day. Eventually I'll remove the clear plastic from it so as to fully enjoy he lampshade.

Beautiful lampshade, wonderful quality! I had found a retro "amber glass teardrop" lamp at our local charity store for a low price. This lampshade brings out the beauty of the amber glass, and makes me so happy! Shades are beautiful and nicely crafted. Shipping was timely but I must say I was very disappointed in the way the boxes arrived for these two shades. I was sure that they would be ruined but luckily they weren't. The boxes were way too big there was no protection for the shades from being smashed. It is a miracle they made it. This is the only time I have had extremely poor packaging for anything I ordered through Amazon.
