Very well made,fairly easy to install and performs very well over all. The small issue I had was the socket had a wire off I had to take the cover off and snap it back on and the lock out arm does not stay in place to pull the line out freely so I need a helper or use the remote and feed the line out. The wires were a little short too and I had to turn my battery around to reach.

I figured this was going to be a noisy cheap winch... Far from it, it's quiet under load and free-wheels easily. Not to mention it has 100' of rope. The relay box is not water proof, haven't had it under water or in the mud yet. I sprayed silicon on the circuitry and the winch itself to repell water and other corrosives. I happy with my purchase and saved about half, considering it's only $320.00. I trust this enough to recommend it...

Ok, so I bolted this winch onto a JCR stubby dagger front bumper. The bolt pattern on the winch lined up perfectly. Total install time from start to finish was 30min. Now, my only problem (and more of a pain in the ass) the winch was missing a bolt to secure the negative cable from the solenoid to the winch itself, after emailing amazon and calling Westin numerous times without any success I finally called Westin one more time and just asked them what the thread size was,went to my local lowes and just bought the dam bolt. Very petty thing but was just a pain in the ass. Overall this is a very nice winch for the money. Very happy with it so far.

Its a winch with synthetic line for under $400!!! Easy install and looks great, lead wire a little short but it works. Solid unit and made by westin, which has a good rep. Im sure it made in China but isnt everything!! HAHA

I ordered this winch from Trend Auto on sale. Classic bait-and-switch. They cancelled my order saying it was out of stock then offered it at a much higher price. I won't play games with Trend Auto ever again!
