    Where to start? Don't buy this shoe if your child is even a little rough on shoes. You will be disappointed. The box matched the Amazon description so I must have gotten the right shoe, but the shoe was terrible. This shoe's quality is utterly disappointing. With only 3 weeks of wear it is a complete wreck and I already had to replace them per the school policy!

    This shoe was not made out of leather. The description says the shoe is leather. There is no leather in the shoe we received. Not anywhere.

    The vinyl coating quickly wore off the shoe revealing the standard fabric backing of a vinyl product. I bought this a few months back and cannot return it but they were not worn until the school year.

    Within a few days the shoe showed wear signs - the burgundy color quickly became a much brighter red in some high wear areas (inside toes and heel areas). There is no way to take care of the issue - the shoe is not leather and will not take polish. We tried - 3-4 types of polish and none would work.

    The inside of the shoe also fell apart, revealing a white synthetic fiber that is very unsightly. This fiber was the padding in the heel area and it completely tore apart on both shoes. My son is hard on shoes but not in this area!

    If you only need this shoe for church and your son is not hard on shoes....maybe. If you want a good shoe, I would avoid it.

    Leather would not have this issue.

    One positive....my son did say they were more comfortable with the now discontinued Bass Penny Loafer for Boys.

    I expected more from a Kenneth Cole shoe. Maybe it was a fake, but it was a disaster purchase from Amazon.

    I purchased these loafers for my daughter , within less than a month the backside of the shoe is already coming apart. The soft cushion that was there to protect the heel is coming out!! I am very disappointed in the quality of this shoe penny loafers are not cheap or easy to find and with a name like Kenneth Cole I was expecting a higher quality not to mention that I missed the deadline for a return exchange policy :(, now all I can hope for is that these shoes last atleast six more months

    I'm very picky about loafers. The stitches can't be puckered, the shape of the toe just right, color...etc. etc. This loafer looks great! However, it is quite large. My son wears size 7 tennis shoes, so that's what I ordered. This may not fit him for another 18 months? I'm not sure why it is so much larger. That's the disadvantage of buying shoes via internet.

    Great shoe for my little man. His feet are somewhat wider at the toes than others. He wears and measures to a 13US boys but these shoes are just a tad long. He should grow into them very soon. We have bought this brand before and they do last the school year.

    This is a very stylish and comfortable shoe. I was looking for something nice for my grandson and I didn't like the styles I saw in the stores; nor did he. So, I took a chance on ordering this shoe and was very satisfied. My grandson likes it as much as any boy could like a dress shoe. As we know boys do not like to dress up, but he does not seem to mind wearing this shoe. Good shoe for the price.

    I bought these for a friend who has always wanted penny loafers. When she got them she said they were very attractive, but a liitle uncomforable cause she needed to break them in. The shoes are very strudy made and will last. These aren't cheap- fall apart shoes.
