Maybe a little too awesome? Blew my 300W RMS rated sub in about 2 weeks, but I'm pretty sure that's the driver's (MB Quart RLP254) fault.

This unit is tiny and generates almost no heat. I have mine installed under the floor of my trunk in a cutout I made. Perfect for driving smaller subs. I'm running a single 10" Pioneer shallow-mount sub, and it's more than enough in my compact car. I have the sub under my trunk (two layers of floor liner) and I still have this held back to about 75% of full power otherwise it overwhelms the rest of my system.

Also: get the external gain controller and take the time to mount it into your dash somewhere, you won't regret it. It's convenient to be able to fine tune the level at a moments notice.

I purchased this amp to drive a single JL 10w3v3. The size is almost shockingly small... pictures don't really do it justice. I didn't need such a physically small amp, but the power output was on target, and JL's reputation for quality proved out. It pushes the sub very cleanly, and is capable of more bass than I can handle. Highly recommend it for a single sub solution!

i have this little guy hooked up to my p3d4-12" fosgate @ 2ohms at it sounds excellent! this thing moves that sub and its half the rms wattage! great amp, sleek and compact design. my iphone sitting on my center console arm rest will rattle off with the right song

I have to admit I was skeptical myself. But I installed this amp to a 10" DVC MB Quart and Boom this little amp really made the speaker sound even better. I would definitely recommend this amp for anyone looking for a clean class d amp in a small install spot.
