Our tile floor had many tiny pits developed over the years. The Ceramifix did an excellent job of making it look lots better. It is easy to use, and although you can't expect it to restore the tiles to their new condition, it makes a tremendous improvement. We had been considering trying to get all the pitted tiles removed and replaced, but with the Ceramifix, we no longer need to consider this. Fortunately, our tiles are white and the Ceramifix white is a good match. Can't say how well any of the other colors might work for you. But I definitely recommend the Ceramifix White for white floors.

Here's a hint I discovered: After applying one or two drops of the product to the pitted areaa, use the edge of a calling card (or similar card) to gently smooth it over the tile, and then use a moist paper towel to remove any excess from the surrounding area. Makes for a nice even application.

(This review is by his wife) The bottle arrived quickly and I dove to the floor to give it a try. The instructions left me with questions so it took some experimenting to figure out the process that worked best for me: I clean the crack with alcohol on a cotton square, let it dry a few minutes, then paint the crack with a small dollop of Ceramifix, let that dry to the touch and peel along the crack with my thumbnail to remove the excess, finally wiping it down lightly with a damp paper towel. This method seems to use the paint more efficiently than smearing the paint on with my finger, and my thumbnail is flexible and thin enough to get the excess off without touching what's in the crack. We took a few pictures and posted them on our Skydrive here: [...] .I'm actually glad that it did not come with any kind of applicator because I think using a little paint brush gave me better control and is easier to clean than a tip attached to the paint bottle. One half-ounce bottle did about 30 linear feet of repair (and there's more in the bottle - I just can't tell how much because it's so thick). I think that this works great on our tile because it has several colors and textures, making the repair that much harder to spot.
Now time will tell: If this repair holds up for even just a year, it's an excellent solution to this cosmetic problem.
UPDATE on 2/19/2016: I'm starting to see the old cracks again starting to pull away from the paint, so it is a temporary solution that needs reapplication over time.

I bought this with low expectations, to repair small chips in the base of my white bathroom tiles. The first time I tried to use it was over Labor Day weekend. I followed the instructions, but when I squeezed out the product, it was almost clear with little flecks of white. I thought maybe it would dry opaque, but it did not, so I emailed customer service and, believe it or not, I got an answer within the hour! On Labor Day weekend, a Sunday!

Anyway, the representative suggested shaking it, which was not in the instructions and the bottle is small, so it didn't seem obvious, but I gave it a try and it worked!

For the larger chips, I just squeezed out from the bottle, for smaller areas, I used a small cheap brush, like kids use for painting models. Both worked great. I wiped an extra off with a paper towel and alcohol.

It worked so well that I used the brush to paint it into hairline cracks in the tile and a marble floor. I scraped off the extra with a credit card (wiped that clean with alcohol, too). The cracks didn't look much different right away, but when the product dried, they are almost invisible.

All for less than $10!!!

When I first rated this product it was based on what I first received. I stated it worked good but the color was darker than shown. The company saw this and wrote back to say they would send me another with a lighter color at no charge. I received it and it matches perfect. A great product and unbelieveable customer service. They stated they wanted customer satisfaction. Not only am I satisfied but highly recommend it. You honestly can't tell where I applied it.

I had a major chip out of my fireplace ceramic tiled hearth. It was up front and center, ugly and quite noticeable. After consulting a local tile guy here in my town, I was disheartened to find out that it was going to coast an arm and a leg to replaced the existing tile. I ran across this product, Ceramifix while on line. I text a product consultant about this Ceramifix, sent in a picture of the ceramic tile and she recommended two specific colors and offered advice and tips about how to make the appropriate repairs to the tile. IT WORKED! It was like magic...It took me a week to apply and gently sand down the access. I was patient and careful in the application of this product, allowing it to completely dry before I reapplied a second and third coat. The end result was simply incredible! The chip was eventually filled and completely disappeared. It's GONE! I highly recommend using Ceramifix before hiring someone to come out and attempt to match and replace that broken or chipped ceramic tile.

I have a white fireclay/porcelain sink. First, the product was too white. I thought maybe it would dry darker, but it didn't. After 30 hours of dry time, the product peeled right off. I don't know if I did something wrong, but I'm back to having two small chips in my sink and not sure how to repair.
