Received the crate pan quickly. It is made with a durable plastic that is thicker than what comes in a standard pet crate bought at petsmart or petco. Should last much longer than the original one we had.

Since my dog is a heavy chewer, I can't trust to leave any beds or crate mats on top of her crate's floor pan. The original floor pan that came with the crate was horrible! It was made of a cheap and thin plastic. Any time she would move around in the crate, you could hear her nails scratching on the tray. I couldn't get any sleep!!!! I thought I was gonna go insane. This crate is made of plastic too, but it's more "rubbery" and which makes it quiet. My dog moves around at night now and it doesn't wake me. I highly recommend if you're looking to make your dog's crate "quieter".
