Ever since I was a little kid I have always admired Los Tigres del Norte. Growing up listening to so many artists and genres, every chance I get I pop in one of their cd's just to board the time machine and enjoy the true Norteño feeling they impregnate us with. But this is a band that is constantly vanguard and evolving musically; their lenghty trayectory and this project prove it! Yes, there was a big production behind this show, but at the end of the day is these five guys and their instruments who face the crowd and prove to us what they do best, play great music. The arrangements on all the songs in this gem cd/dvd (with the exception of the last track) are priceless. Special honrable mention on #5 "mi buena suerte" with Diego Torres. Great catchy stripped sound. The sound on this unplugged is how every UNPLUGGED show should sound. RAW & BEAUTIFUL. Their acoustic versions here sound way better than the original versions. The richer and deeper sound stands out and provides more feeling compared to their radio play. Diego Torres and Andres Calamaro just gained a new fan with me, as I'm sure fans from the rest of the invited artists will jump on the Los Tigres del Norte wagon from now on as well. Only one complaint. Why only 12 songs? When Tigres and Co. have the means to produce way more material from their extensive repertoire. A message to the producers...Can't wait for BRONCO Unplugged. Another great Norteño band with genius musicianship, the perfect ingredient for an UNPLUGGED.

from San Antonio Texas. She is responsible for my Good taste in Latin Music.
I will continue to purchase Latin Music because of my Parents.

I'l admit it, I'm not the biggest "Los Tigres Del Norte" fan there is but I come from a family that loves this group. I like that this CD has a lot of the songs that I would hear as a kid growing up listening to the car radio. I think if you're just going to buy one of their CDs like I will, this is the one to get because it has their greatest hits and the production is really good. Best song is the one with Paulina Rubio.

I got this because i like the tigres del norte and their music i think that they have move from being a only one segment group to applying to all types of music and this is a great example their music is timeless and unique and i just love this
