The magnet is not strong enough to support the Primos 46 Cam.
the plastic grooved cylinder around the magnet is too
flimsy and wallows out, and now is no use at all, after one
month. I have the older mount without the Magnet, Its work.
Great. If I could find the older type I would purchase again.

very disappointed this mount does not mate with a Primos 35 camera. There is only 1 mounting hole on camera's back whereas the mounting bracket has 4 screws. Even their website shows a similar camera using this mount. Misleading IMO.

I purchased this mount because it was supposedly made for all Primos cameras, which is definitely not the case.

I was tentative about spending money on a mount system when a tree works perfectly fine....most of the time. This thing works with no drama, no more having to put sticks behind the camera to get the right angle. Not a required piece of hunting kit but it saves a lot of hassle.

This is a really great addition to our trail cam, and makes it so easy to mount/adjust our camera. Assembling this mount and figuring out what is what was challenging though because there were no instructions other than a few pictures on the back of the package. Primos really needs to include instructions for assembly with this product.

i found the new 20/20 mount to have a lot more plastic parts then the old style and also the new magnetic feature i did`nt care for so i super glue the magnets together and it works great .

I wanted to like this product so badly. I have grown sick and tired of wasting time mounting , positioning and re-positioning my game cameras on trees. All the creativity and frustration of straps, wire, string, sticks behind the cam for better position, etc... Since I own 3 Primos 60's ( which I am VERY happy with!) this purchase was a no-brainer. Whats not to love when you want to love it?

-Plastic piece with teeth that hugs the tree for starters, cheap and doesn't grab like metal teeth would.
- the strap. Same old frustration trying to get the provided strap to pull tight enough to hold camera until you return.
(If I decide to continue to use these long term I will use a small ratcheting strap instead)
- awkward tightening of camera positioning piece...

The above cons in my opinion were reason for 3 stars when I wanted to give it more. Just cant since upon leaving the field I did not have any more confidence in my cameras than I did with string, wire and sticks.

The biggest positive and reason for my purchase other than what appeared to be a no-brainer item? The custom mounting into the back of my Primos cameras. Very cool. BUT if I was looking at this unit as a "universal" solution to another brand camera other than Primos...utilizing the provided universal bracket and stretchy straps, I would steer clear of this product.

Unfortunate because I am a HUGE Primos fan on many different product lines.

These camera mounts are a necessity for game cameras. My first camera got swatted off the tree by a bear so I got one of these to mount it higher.

You can adjust the angle with these mounts and tighten them down so they don't shift. I used wood screws to attach it to a tree up high. The magnetic release is convenient for simply pulling the camera off without having to deal with straps, bolts or other hardware. Getting the camera off the ground and up in the air has made it more effective in capturing animals and I'm not as worried about people seeing it and stealing it.

I use it for a Primos TruthCam and a Bushnell. The Bushnell required the adapter plate, which consists of some bungee cords on a larger back. It's pretty hokey and I was doubtful, but it serves its purpose and does the job it was intended to do--just make sure it's up where a bear can't swat at it.
