This gas valve key was perfect. We had stone-faced our fireplace, so the 4" key we had would no longer fit. This key is long enough and has the circle shape at the end to fit into the gas valve we have.

Its does what it says it will but I could only find one that is way too long or too short. It sticks far out of my fireplace and the short one doesn't fit. Be sure to check the length before you buy. Otherwise it looks well built and should last a long time. MACHRACER

The diameter of the end of this key is too large to fit into the socket of my valve. I had to purchase a smaller step down socket at Lowes that's thin enough to fit the valve in order to make it work. This key's thickness is unnecessarily too large.
