With the diced dried apple bits, this cereal can stands alone. This is especially nice when you are in a hurry and don't have time to bother adding extra ingredients (dried fruit such as raisins, or sprouted flax powder, chia seed, nuts, etc.)

The cinnamon is a little strong for my taste, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. I also like to add finely minced crystallized ginger to hot cereals, but that taste battles with the cinnamon.

Bottom line: It's worth a try.

These are some of the best, make that the best hot cereal I have ever had! The taste is incredible and the texture is just right. I buy the Bob's Red Mill High Fiber Cereal and mix it with this cereal for high fiber regularity and a great apple cinnamon taste. This cereal is awesome!!!

This was better than many brands, but just okay compared to other Bob's products. We prefer Bob's Steel Cut Oats on both texture & heartiness. There really isn't much Apple Cinnamon flavor to this product. Steel cut oats with a little applesauce or shredded apple & a pinch of cinnamon is far tastier and sticks with you longer.
