Good little case!

This could be an awesome case or just OK depending on what you are looking for. I bought this for my recently purchased Kindle paperwhite to keep it safe in my purse or when I carry it to the pool. For daily carrying around in my purse it's a little bulkier than I would like, but I don't know how often I'll take it with me anyway. For the pool, though, it's great. Since I have been reading via the Kindle app on my phone for years and mainly bought the actual Kindle device for reading by the pool, this serves my needs well.

The way the corners curve outward it gives you a little extra cushion and overall it feels thick enough that I'm not too worried about dropping it. It is easy enough to take the Kindle in and out, but it's also snug enough that if you need to leave it unzipped for easier access the device shouldn't slip out of the case while it is in your bag. I was concerned that the zipper might rub against the device and create scratches over time; however, the seam created by sewing the neoprene, fuzzy lining and zipper together appears to cover the edge of the Kindle nicely so that it doesn't rub against the zipper.

The reason I like it for the pool is that the neoprene will help keep the contents dry. I used to worry that if I left it on my chair while I took a dip in the pool it would get splashed, but I worried that if I put it in my bag one of the kids might throw a wet towel in on top of it. It's not actually waterproof, but it's great for the pool or beach.

Overall, I really like the case and it is good quality. If I end up carrying it around in my purse all the time I will find a thinner case to just protect it from scratches.

Worth all 500 pennies

This is an amazing case for this price. I mean i was just so impressed with it for what I paid. All BUILT products are a real great value for your money. I purchased this one for my kindle voyage and have been nothing but impressed. It provides protections from moderate drops, from scratches and from dirt not to mention anything else I throw in my bag. Wish it came with a loop to attach a carabiner too but thats about the only change i'd make.
