I looked at the software description of both Personalize 'n Stitch and Edit 'n Stitch and first decided to go with Personalize 'n Stitch. It's a great product and very easy to use, but you get all that plus editing functionality with Edit 'n Stitch. So, now I own both.

If you just want to import embroidery designs and add some lettering around them, this is fine. But, the Edit 'n Stitch product from the same company enables you to do that as well as the capability to modify the embroidery designs. For example, if you purchase a design that is too large, Edit 'n Stitch gives you the ability to make it smaller, whereas Personalize 'n Stitch only gives you the ability to use it as is.

I received the package very quickly and was able to begin using it that day and for another 10-12 day. Around that time, my computer had to do updates and, lo and behold, P'N S 2 became unlicensed and I could not use it. I tried to reinstall-didn't work- big mistake! I emailed the help desk and got a gentleman(who only works on Mon,. Wed and Sat nights). After a Wed and Sat, he decided my problem needed more help than he could provide and put in touch with a young lady for the next Mon. She had to get all my info again and had to call Canada to get another permission for me to use. Well, I got it and it works fine now. I didn't know that trying to reinstall on my same computer would count for another use. I enjoy the ease of use and it does work out really neat.

The program was very user friendly and easy to use. Within 5 minutes after installation, I merged two designs. The instruction manuals are written for ease in following and the illustrations are an added bonus. An added bonus would be if they listed the version on the package you purchase to let you know if you needed to purchase the update. I am assuming that you must purchase the update any time you buy this software although it works for me with what I do.
