People at work said if you want you your wood furniture and cabinets clean this is the stuff to use. They were right. But you must get the cleaner first, which I found on amazon, then use the polish. WOW

I originally bought this to clean an old china cabinet I purchased on line from a couple who moved to my area. Of course that was after I vacuumed it and cleaned it with Murhphy's oil soap. This took even more dirt off as the cloth was slightly black after I used it. So it works. But I also used it on the piano my parents bought back in the 70s for my sister and I learn piano on. I just got it from my sister as she no longer wanted it. Of course after she let her two young kids (who are not adults) kick it, bang on it, and whatever else they did to it. It had wax build up. Smelled like her potpourri'd home. The rag wiped all of that off of the piano. The piano was shiny again. Not dull. It looked like it had been waxed actually. Anyway I haven't seen any damage to the wood I used this on. I haven't seen anything negative. Just good results. I read where you can use this for everyday cleaning if you like.

I got this wood cleaner with the dining room set I purchased... I did not use it for the longest time and then tried it one day...it is the BEST furniture/wood cleaner I have ever used!!!

This has done a terrific job at removing sticky residue and discoloration from the stair banisters in my home. Granted, it takes a bit of elbow grease, and the foam has a tendency to drip, so you have to work quickly, but overall I've been very pleased with the results.

I have used Guardsman products for years after purchasing a piece of new furniture. The sales person recommended this brand. It does not leave a film on the furniture to catch dust like some sprays do and the shine is just beautiful when polished. Polishing your furniture is different than dusting your furniture and if you use a good product like this dusting is much easier.

Used to love the tan/brown cans of guardsman. Smelled great and worked wonders on all types of wood, all types of finishes.

This does a good job, but doesn't smell the same, and is filmy until you work it in with a really dry cloth. It leaves more streaks than pledge and doesn't clean that much better, certainly not like the old stuff.

I do like their newer products, like the Valspar/Guardsman 461500 Guardsman Wood Furniture Polish 16 FL OZ, lemon oil, or Revitalizing Wood Polish, Woodland Fresh Spray 16 oz.spray. They are quite expensive though, and I don't like to use for every day cleaning. For the money, I'd buy a three pack of pledge before I'd buy this again.

I have to be honest, I am usually pretty cheap when it comes to cleaning products. Until I received the Guardsman products with a furniture purchase. I was amazed at the difference it makes in everything I use it on. It looks like it took years of waxy buildup off and it has a bright shine to it now. Anyone who has wood furniture - spend the little extra money and get this, you will not be disappointed.
