I bought this to tie up a solar shower bag at my fishing cabin (no water, no electricity). My design on the shower wasn't the greatest but the cleat worked fine. I installed a pulley system so the younger and older folks who stayed at the cabin could pull up a full bag of warm shower water and tie the rope off with this cleat - this also gave the shower bag different height adjustments for different people so even tall people could take advantage of the bag's gravity flow design without having to bend down to allow the water proper flow.

The cleat was very easy to install and use. The size is rather large but for my use it is good. I use it with a pulley system to hold my kayak high up in my garage. The large size is good for holding the coiled rope.

The only thing I did was to drill the mounting holes larger to accommodate a 1/4-20 allen head screw. My choice was dictated by the spacing of the holes. I would have much preferred to have these cleats to be made of Alluminum. They work great and appear to be strong.
