    LOVE IT!!! Beautiful red hibiscus color and nice flattering fit.

    The large, zipped and laying flat, measures 21.5 inches armpit to armpit across the chest. The narrowest measurement across the waist is 19.5 inches. I normally wear a size 14/16 or XL with a DD bust and these measurements would seem to small but the fabric is stretchy and form fitting. I'm 5'7 and this jacket is about the same length on me as you see in the photo. The large fits snug on my body and arms but like I said, it has plenty of stretch and flex. Very comfortable and even a little slimming. I plan on ordering another large in a different color.

    I've concluded this fleece must be magic.

    Yup.

    How else is it that I, a recent transplant from Texas to Massachusetts, could walk out in only this fleece over a thin cotton sweater - in 30something degree weather - and be fine in not just the cold, but the wind?

    And how is it that this fleece transitions so well from outside to inside? When I got a chill at work and threw on this fleece, I was fine. I wasn't too hot, even though it had just made me comfortable in 30something degree windy weather.

    ...magic.

    I rest my case.

    (For those of a more serious demeanor: "just kidding." But really, it's a great fleece. I was raised in Texas and did my undergrad in LA, so Boston is my first experience living long term in a cold climate. If I can handle cold, windy weather in just this fleece, so can you.)

    For sizing purposes: I'm about 5'6", 32B chest, and 27" waist. The XS fits with enough room to layer light sweaters underneath. The length is great - it falls around mid-hip for me. It also has a bit of a bias cut, so it's not boxy.

    After reading all the reviews, I decided to take a chance and order a medium. I'm 5'1" and 148 pounds. I'm in month 2 of a 6 month nutrition and exercise plan, so I didn't want to order a large and wind up swimming in it in a few months. The medium fits perfectly. It's nicely tailored and very flattering.

    The description doesn't say it, but there are actually five pockets. There are the front two and the small sleeve pocket that you see in the pictures, but there are also two hidden pockets on the inside behind the front pockets. These would be perfect for holding your ID and a card if you're out and about.

    Got this Columbia Women's Fast Trek II Full Zip Fleece Jacket in black color size small delivered in 1 week, fits me perfect.
    Reading reviews I was afraid it was going to be bigger because my plans were wearing it without layers underneath so I was not sure if to buy xs or s. Bought in Small, and now I see It comes as it is written in Columbia size chart. The black color not exactly black, it is more like very dark blue, love it. The color of the pockets inside matches the jacket color.
    The only thing is I still do not know how I feel about - the feel of fleece, comparing to my husbands Columbia fleece Jacket, mine feels less soft, more like synthetic I guess, but lets see may be it will soften after washing. Will update later about it.
    The sewing lines are straight and looks great 95%, but where the collar attached to body and around the pockets sewing lines are not straight, in dark color you can barely notice it, still, could be done same good as rest 95% of the jacket : )
    I like my new Jacket, it is very warm and lightweight, Thank you Columbia and Amazon.

    P.S. Girls, here is measurements I took for the ones who are still in doubt about XS or S:
    My jacket is in SMALL size
    From shoulder to shoulder line - 15,7 in
    from armpit to armpit - 18 in
    around hips - 39.92 in
    sleeve length - 24 in
    Jacket lenght - 24 in + collar 3.85in

    I purchased this fleece to be a replacement to my last Columbia outerwear (which was another model), and it's better than my previous purchase! I like it soooo much, I am here to buy ANOTHER one! This is a fairly light fleece jacket, but it's amazingly warm enough to don in the 30 and 40 degree weather of New York City.

    - Light-weight
    - Good quality fleece
    - Very warm for cold days
    - High-collar to zip all the way up, or down
    - No hood :-)
    - Roomy pockets for hands (or stuff)
    - Arm pocket to put favorite MP3 device or phone
    - No piling after multiple washings

    Cons
    - Can't think of one...

    I am here to get another, so whenever this one starts to deteriorate, I will have my backup handy :-).
