This product was shipped to my home in a tube container in fine condition however upon opening, I discovered many things that I would have expected from a better quality product. The first is that you would expect the product to be square, it is not. When I cut for the window, I had to trim all of the sides so that this product would have at least right angles. Although that was frustrating, it was manageable, the next thing that bothered me slightly was that upon hanging the film up, I noticed several scratches in the film itself which I thought was on the removable side of the film. Lastly, installing the film left some fogged spots which I tried desperately to squeegee out but to no avail.

Overall the product should still withstand impacts, but wish the initial quality of the product would have been better.

My window was a sliding glass door. The film is thick and easy to work with. Easier than the car window tint film, I should say.

What I did was measure the glass, first. Then traced my measurement to the film. Then cut the film using a new pair of scissors and a new razor knife. (Oh yeah, as the saying goes, measure twice, cut once. You only get one chance with this expensive stuff.)

Then I used a helper to size up my cut sheet to the glass. Use lots of soapy water on a pre- cleaned window, lots of soapy water spray on the glue side of the film, and lots of soapy water on the face of the film so your rubber squeegee doesn't scratch the film. Squeegee it on the best you can, then walk away for about an hour.

You'll see water bubbles under the film, so maybe try another squeegee before the glue has really set. With mine, I saw water bubbles under the film for almost a month before they finally started to dry up, so resist the temptation to pop them for at least a month or two after installation. This stuff is 12 mils thick, so the water drys up real slow as compared to car window tint.

Finally after about a month of dry time, I went around the edge of the film with clear RTV Silicon Seal for that extra layer of break resistant security.

Easy to install, just hard to make it look perfect on glass. Make sure to use PLENTY of soapy solution on all surfaces listed in the instructions - if you don't use it on the surface your squeegee is pressed against it will scratch the surface of the security film. I bought enough film to give me 2 attempts to get it right. The first attempt didn't pan out, but the second one is passable with only a few lint flecks embedded in the film.

Great service shipping was on time. I applied it to a window and the film appears to be discoloring. I'm not sure if it is due to sunlight, or temperature, or just a product defect, but I'm going to have to remove it because it has yellow blotches in the film. I have no complaints with the Seller though, just this particular product.
