Due to this product's excellent price, magnificant dlution ratio, fabulous fragrance, and not to mention ALL NATURAL and NON TOXIC, we had to at least try it. we have used MrGreen deodorizer with great success, and now, we are happy to say that MrGreen pet wash works great as well. we would recommend using it as a Pet Pre Wash, as it really gets down to the skin and removes the debris that causes odor; However, it does NOT lather or replace the natural oils, so be aware that follow up with another shampoo, coditioner or creme rinse is recommended, as to NOT strip the natural oils from your pet's coat. we are busy pet groomers who groom dogs, cats, pot belly pigs, birds, and just about whatever little animal is brought to us in need help, so we feel very qualified to write this review, as we have bathed literally thousands of small pets. hope this helps.

Well priced and delivered quickly, this product worked well for our little yorkie. She is bathed frequently as she is on the furniture most of the time and sleeps in bed with us every night. I followed the advice of a previous reviewer and used Mr. Green as a pre-wash to her normal shampoo bath. Her coat is silkier than ever and she still smells fresh days after her bath. Liked the product so much, I ordered the Mr. Green pet spray as well.

Was looking for lemongrass scent... estactic to find out it was completely natural (my dogs have really sensitive skin). Since I have two big dogs, a doberman and another dobie/hound mix, the price for 34 oz is really good too, not to mention it is concentrated . . cuz they get reeeally dirty and stinky. They love to lay in the dirt on hot summer days when we leave them outside.

First I rinse off the dirt with the jet stream hose setting, then wash my dogs about twice with this stuff just to be sure they are extra clean. I use it with Conair Dog Massaging Shampoo Brush to really loosen the dirt. This brush also helps to give it more of a sudsy lather since it has no sulfates.

After the wash they smelled great! My hubby and I personally love the smell of lemongrass. Since the pro pet groomer said it doesnt replace the oils, i used BarkLogic - Tick & Flea Prevention Silky Pet Coat Conditioner - 18 oz. - Lemongrass to soften. This stuff is good too. Really exaggerates the lemongrass scent i love. We will see how long the scent lasts.

I would have given this 4 stars except for a couple of things. 1) To me this is nothing like a shampoo even though is says "shampoo" on the bottle. There is no lather/suds when applying this. What you get when you prepare this for use is a rinse that you essentially pour over the dog and work into the coat/skin as best you can. I have a 50lb dog and we wash in the tub, it is easy to get it on her back, but harder to get coverage on the chest and stomach. You can use a wash cloth to work it around, but it isn't quite the convenience you get with a thicker suds type of product. That said there are things you can do with a rinse that you can't do as easily with a shampoo, but I found the labeling confusing/misleading. 2) Also regarding the label it only lists as ingredients, "water, minerals, vitamins and amino acids." What minerals, vitamins, etc? The fragrance is not even listed. How does this product work? I don't know.

I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt as to what it does and how it is applied because after using it a few times I think it does clean the dog, it leaves the fur feeling soft and there fragrance is pretty nice for a dog wash product. I wish there was more information about the product in general and also a better more accurate description of its nature both as a rinse and the science/ingredients in the product.

You can find some additional info by going online and researching, but not much more than what is on the bottle. In conclusion, a decent product that needs better label and description so that first time buyers know what they are getting.
