Ordered one for me and one for a gift. The colors shown online on my MacBook are brighter than the actual mats (seems as though someone pushed the ENHANCE button on iPhoto). I've been a cushioned kitchen mat purchaser for eons and a tad more swayed by beautiful designs than by comfort. This design is prettier than what I've found currently locally readily available in this general price range (I paid $27), but is a so-so deal when taking price, design, and comfort all into consideration. This is barely spongy, but adds helpful cushion over my hardwood floor; however, for half the price, I can intermittently find a slightly more cushioned and better overall deal at my favorite club warehouse. If you need more serious cushion due to back or feet problems, this is probably not the mat for you. But . . . nice design, so I'm pretty happy :-)

The Made-in-USA label warns to make sure that this closed-cell PVC material is compatible with your Sealed Mexican Saltillo Clay Tile or Concrete Floor. Offhand, I don't notice any "toxic" PVC fumes. "Stain-resistant."

This mat is a good size for the front of our kitchen sink. However, there are some blemishes on the surface that have popped up since we have put it in place. I would probably look elsewhere for a mat next time.

Starting peeling right away. At one month, it looks a couple of years old. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased, as I see others have had this problem.

The other thing I find a little odd is that it is very long, but not very wide. So if you have any overhang of your cabinet under your sink, and you put the rug against the sink (functioning as a wall), then the rug doesn't stick out onto the floor much. It is much more narrow than the other kitchen rugs I have had. So check the measurements before you order this.

The picture is lovely. I hate that it is not well made enough to keep.

I wish I could say it's as good as the ones we purchased about 2 years ago as we REALLY try to buy USA made products. We're keeping them for that reason, but I hope they listen and get some real "give" in these because as much as we love the designs, we wouldn't buy them for that alone. We'll keep watching and Always willing to give them a try!!

Although the colors are much duller than those pictured, the mat is very attractive - I like it even better than the picture. HOWEVER, we've had the mat for less than 2 months and the picture is chipping/wearing off the edges. I'm very disappointed in the quality. (I tried to post a picture but got no response from the "Add a photo" button ...)

I bought two of these mats for my kitchen at the end of July. They are on hard tile and definitely have gotten wet. My expectation was that they could stand up to that. The mats are perfectly comfortable but both designs are peeling off. Most mysteriously is that I never see where the pieces are going. Both images are now barely recognizable.

I don't know what these other people got, that they say the colors started to flake off. This mat has been great, no flaking at all and its used quite a bit everyday of the week. The only thing, DO NOT let your cat scratch his/her claws on it, because then it will show the white foam material underneath the print. This happened once, and I just used the same color of Sharpie to color in...not noticeable now. Also the mat is not a viberate in color as the picture shows, more dulled colors. I think they had the saturation turned way up on their photo.
