I have had a seriously deviated septum and cannot breath out of one nostril since I was a small child. I did not want the surgery as I know many people who had it and said it was a lot of pain for not much improvement. A doctor suggested the Breathe Rite strips to stop my mouth breathing at night and resulting snoring. I cannot believe how well these work. They pick up the nostrils and I can breath out of both of them for the first time in my life. I would like to wear them all day if I could.

I can't believe how much better I sleep now since I've been using these. I've been using them for almost a year now and my breathing and overall sense of health feels great. I have more energy now and feel rested even after 5-6 hours.

Tip: put a dab of lotion on the bridge of your nose to prevent the adhesive from sticking in the middle. There is no use of having it stick in the middle of your nose and often it is the cause of pain when trying to remove them. The lotion keeps only the 2 edges sticky and make them a hell of a lot less irritating and a lot less painful to remove.

I was not as thrilled with these because they are made from very hard plastic and were a bit small for my nose. Small/med should be listed as small....they are very hard and not comfortable at all. I will not buy these again, I really like the cloth, larger ones!

The best way to apply this product is to clean the skin on your nose thoroughly with anything that will remove oil and not leave any residue such as makeup remover or liquid soap. The skin should then be dried thoroughly before applying the adhesive strip. Taking half of the paper cover off and being careful not to touch the adhesive with your fingers apply half of the strip to the bridge of the nose as directed in the instructional booklet. Peel off the remaining piece of paper covering the adhesive and apply pressure to the strip holding it onto your nose firmly for at least 10 seconds. Using this method the strip will stay on for several hours, even with light sweating from work or exercise.

I really wanted these to work. I seem to get congested at night and these seemed perfect. I tried everything - different kinds of soaps, washing my nose two/three/four times, even different types of towels - but these would just not stay on. Even using two at a time didn't keep them on. They'd only stay on for about an hour and then they'd peel off the sides of my nose and just be stuck to the top. I'm glad they work well for others, but for some reason, they do not stay on for me - and yes, I followed the directions/placement exactly.

I use one of these. Having been using Breathe Right for about 4 years now. Feels like I'm smothering at night and using this cures that feeling. I always use the clear because the tan adhesive is so strong I have to work quite a bit to get it off. I guess that is for real oily skin. Since my skin is dry the clear is perfect, it just peels right off without much effort but still holds tight all night long. Try it.

These definitely open up your nasal passages and functionally work as advertised. However, the first night I used them I woke up with a bruise-colored mark on the bridge of my nose where the strip was resting. The next time I tried them, I tried to put it on with more of an arch so it didn't rest against my nose. It didn't leave a mark in the morning but was surprisingly difficult to pull off and left a sticky residue on my nose that I had to scrub off. If this is the sensitive skin version, I definitely wouldn't want to try the normal version. Maybe I will give them another try and try to wear off the stickiness by sticking it to my shirt or something first, but I haven't been to excited about them thus far despite the many positive reviews that others have given.
