The Epson Gloss Optimizer twin pack is exactly what we ordered and it was priced right. Epson printers use more Gloss Optmizer than any of the other colors so you need extra Optimizer to make up the difference. The price for this product was slightly less than the price at Epson online.

If it weren't for the fact that the R2000 goes through gloss optimizer like it was water, I'd give this 5 stars. I like the feel of the R2000 gloss better than that from my R1800. It feels more permanent - heavier-duty (which stands to reason since it uses so much...).

I bought a number of cartridges from this company, purported to be Epson ink at a somewhat lower than Epson's or other retailers' prices...
Well, I know why now.... some are missing the cardboard box, but the cartridges are vacuum factory sealed... and some have the box and the only reason for the discount is the EXP. date is six months away instead of 2 years away.
Well, after paying Epson list price, and other places list price, and even buying some 3rd party ink for a while (which were fine from today's order, and were different in the next order), I am happy as can be with my purchase, and have bought a lot more since this trial cartridge set.

However, It seems to suck up the gloss at a rate of 3 to one
I appreciated having this 2 pack when the printer ran low and I needed to install to continue printing for a job due the next day.

Nothing bad or exceptional it worked as well as all the other Gloss Optimizers have. I was not disappointed it had the right amount of optimizer in the cartridge or perhaps more than cartridges in the past except I am only going on my gut feeling here, I have no facts to back this up, it just seems to last longer than the last cartridges I had. I do a lot of basic text printing as well as some Photo printing which when I get the color correct (sometimes to much red in the photo) the shots are great!

If you print on glossy paper you will NEED these. The printer puts a full page coating of this on top of the colors. That won't be an issue if you print on matte papers.
