My 7th grader used this for the entire 2010-2011 school year. It held up remarkably well and while it shows signs of wear & tear - we were planning on using it again this year until I found some on Amazon. It was so central to helping my son stay organized and prepared. This was the 1 item that he religiously carried from class to class. It always had pens, pencils & highlighters in the 3 front compartments (2 mesh with zippers and 1 pocket with velcro) and one of the file sections held blank paper - so he always had the basics with him. It gave him a place to store handouts from each subject and a back pocket that he used to store items that needed to be turned in throughout the day.

When I purchased it at Office Max last year, it was the only one I saw there and I have never seen another one in a store since. I was relieved to find them on Amazon and have ordered 5 of them so my 5th grader can have one too and we have back-ups in case these newer models don't hold up as well.

We purchased 3 5-Tab file folders for our daughter for middle school, along with the Case-it 2-in-1 Adjustable Zipper 3-Ring Dual Binder, 1 Set of 3-Inch Rings and 1 Set of 1.5-Inch Rings, Lavender, DUAL-501-LAV. We are extremely please with the Case-it systems; our daughter is in 7th grade and this is her second binder. If we had known about this Locker Accessory last year, we would have gotten it for her last year, as well. Previously she used the regular folders and they constantly rip and tear. This accessory is very durable, and she can fit quite a lot in each tab. We also love that the rings that go into the binder are reinforced with metal, which means it will last A LOT longer than the regular paper folders. I highly recommend this system!

I use it in the case it 5 inch double binder for my knitting supplies and the patterns oi am working with. I love all the pockets on the file for storing small scissors and knitting supplies. I can just pop it out and carry it with me to my knitting group. It is working great for me!

I bought this to put inside the case-it binder and it sticks out over the edge which defeats the purpose of zipping the case-it binder closed. The only way to get the binder to close is if I bend the file tab while zipping the binder. Why would you make an accessory for your product that doesn't fit? FYI I bought the 4'' D Ring Case-it binder.

I put this in my son's 2" binder to replace the separate plastic folders I had in there for schoolwork. He doesn't bring that many papers to and from home that much, so this is perfect and fits nicely in the binder behind his schedule book and "To turn in" envelope. And the holes will never rip. He also likes that he can keep a few pencils and an eraser in it- no need for a separate pencil case for just the binder.

This is a board and not a flimsy flap holder. I must say it is pretty hardcore and a great supply holder. You might watch the dimensions. I use zip binders and it ALMOST didn't fit it in mine.

This file folder has made it through more than half a year of high school and is still going strong. My son uses one for A days and one for B days. (If you're not familiar with this, lucky you!) These folders seems like a good idea to help keep him organized and we can use all the help we can get!

I bought these for my son when he went into 7th grade and he kept the same ones till he graduated high school this year. They are very sturdy and kept him well organized. He bought a different color and each class and a notebook and every paper from the class went into this binder. My daughter is going into 7th grade this year and I am buying the same binders. I did not buy the zipper binder that all these Case-it 5 tab Locker Accessory fits into because they are too big to fit into our lockers.
