Works well enough but I always modify it by putting some soft foam cut to the size of the top to keep bullets from bouncing around. If you put fired bullets in the box their is enough room that they will come out of their slot. For some this might not be an issue but I reload so I put the fired shells in specific slots so that I can examine the case at home for signs of overpressure. Not knowing which load showed a sign is pretty important so this foam takes up enough space that unfired bullets are help firmly and fired cases do not have enough room that they can come out if the box tips over. It seems solid enough that it will last for a long time and I have some older cases that are probably 10 years old and show no signs that the plastic is breaking down or warping.

SOOOOPER cheap, or perhaps inexpensive is a better choice... Really well made, I have a dozen of these now. I had bought blue ones from another source, the green ones are apparently undesirable because they are much cheaper for some reason.

Note to you folks who gave a low rating because your .308 rattles around... YOU bought the wrong size so..

My only issue with buying these is that the MTM-50 isn't a correct part number, so when you are trying to look them up on Amazon it's nearly impossible to tell if you are getting the correct size.

The box does exactly what I need of it for 7mm Remington Magnum rounds. I have not applied the provided labels so I cannot comment on how well they stick or how long they might appear to last. My only concern is the plastic hinge, I fear it may wear out prematurely.

I like this ammo box, very solid plastic. The only issue I ever had with these boxes is the added width from the latch. Latch is very good for holding the box closed but you lose some space in your ammo can. Still I'd buy it again (and will).

If you have any MTM ammo storage boxes then you know what you getting and you wont be disappointed. If this is your first be ready to buy more, these boxes are extremely durable and functional. The only reason I gave this one four stars is the top of the box doesn't have indents to help stack the same ammo box on top of it cleanly. Other MTM products will stack and almost feel like they lock in place this one does not. Overall though the perfect box for my 45 colt ammo.
