I found these about a year ago and have been a dedicated fan ever since. Shake out 1 cup dry hashbrown potatoes into a cup and full until just covered with water. While I am waiting for these to hydrate, chop and saute up a few vege's. In just a few minutes you will be able to add these hashbrowns to the vege's and in just a few more, breakfast is ready!
This is super easy for myself and the teens. It adds a dimension to breakfast that we would not otherwise have. The prepping of potato's and storing the extra - this is much easier and less daunting for early morning, eyes not yet open, logistics! :-)

I find that these hashbrowns, which are quick and easy to prepare, taste as delicious as hashbrowns will ever get. They match those served in upscale restaurants in Switzerland called "Rösti". I used to buy the Golden Grill Russet Premium Hashbrowns at Sam's Club, but they discontinued selling them in my area of Western North Carolina, and I am ever so happy to have located them on AMAZON!

You can get this product cheaper at some Sam's Clubs, but I do not have access to one so I bought it here.

1 cup water, 1 cup of these. Microwave for 1 minute then let rest for 15 minutes
Drain and/or pat dry (important step!)
2 tbs oil, medium high heat for three minutes, flip, three more minutes.
Beautiful Hashbrown!

Love these hashbrown potatoes. I've used them before and then could not find them at my store so I looked on Amazon (and we all know they have almost everything). These come out tasting exactly like the ones you get at restaurants for breakfast only fresher and better. I would recommend these to anyone that likes the shredded type hashbrowns. Much, much, much better than frozen type.

I eat these almost every day. They are very easy to fix. Just add water, wait 15 minutes then fry. It does not get any better.

I buy at Sam's for $5.95. I wanted to save the trip BUT at a savings of $14 I will drive to the store!

Dried Hashbrown Potatoes are one of my favorite, must have, most used, and most versatile pantry staples. Golden Grill in this size is my preferred brand and size for so many reasons that I ended up listing them below. The number one reason is that they Taste Great, like fresh potatoes.

My husband and I live alone but have the children and grandchildren visit often and unannounced. Potatoes are a staple at my house and one of my husbands and grandchildrens' favorite foods, for both breakfast and dinner. Keeping fresh potatoes on hand is a problem for so many reasons (we dont have cool dark storage 45 to 55 f degrees, should not be kept in refrigerator, do not store by onions, peeling is hard on my hands, peelings must be disposed of etc. etc.) with the average shelf life of 1 to 2 weeks at normal room temperature and my grocery store has them on their shelf up to 2 weeks they spoil and are a waste of money, in addition to this my husband is diabetic and must carefully monitor his carbohydrate intake but cannot resist eating all of the potatoes I cook. So the perfect solution to providing a special breakfast to my unannounced visitors, maintaining portion control for my husband , avoiding waste, is this product.
