Just colored with this for the first time using a hair color applicator brush picked up at a beauty supply. It makes color application easier whether you are just doing root touchups or full head color. The pointed handle end allows for easy sectioning of the hair.

The medium blonde color came out even and shiny and colored my gray completely. The shampoo and conditioner included made it feel soft to the touch. My hair is baby fine but after this color and a blow dry it was full of volume.

I've tried many over the counter hair color brands and all except FAT Foam and Fekkai left my hair feeling limp and lifeless. Fekkai is no longer available in the store. It was a $30 investment anyway. FAT Foam seems to have done the same thing for a fraction of the price.

We'll see how true the color stays and if it passes that test I will use it again.

FAT Foam thickening creme is great too but a little goes a long way and you don't need conditioner with it either.

Do not waste your money on this product. I normally buy Garnier Nutrisse, which leaves my hair with great color and actually improves the texture for $3 less a box. Had a coupon and thought I'd 'treat' myself to a higher end product. I followed the instructions completely. The product is extremely messy, and labor intensive to clean up drops as you go to keep from staining. Not even close to 100% gray coverage, the color took but was uneven and left gray all over. The worst part is what it did to the texture of my hair, leaving it dry and brittle. I can't wait for enough time to go by to undo the damage done by this product and go back to my Garnier.
