For some reason I could not find plastic knives in the local stores. Spoons, forks and sets of spoons, forks and knives, were no problem to find, but to find knives only was a challenge. Hey, can't find it, try Amazon!

I wrote another report on a different brand. Both are great. They are strong enough for pressure, for spreading peanut butter, etc. This is a great light weight knife that can be disposed of in a recycle bin. If you are on a picnic or at the sandy beach they are great. You do not have to drag them home to wash them. Can even be used at home and washed. They will even work on backpack trips because they are plenty sturdy and much lighter weight than the conventional backpack sets. Just please be considerate when disposing of them. Great product.
