I have used cocoa butter for years and truly believe in its healing properties. I finally realized if you take your hair dryer and heat up the cocoa butter stick after pushing it up, it will soften up and make it easier to rub on your skin. Hope this helps everyone!

I have used this daily on my face to keep from getting wrinkles. I'm 44 this year and have been using these sticks for about the last 7 years and have noticed my face seems to be defying the aging process. There are products out there that claim to do the same thing, but will probably cost you a lot more. I bought these because Walgreens stopped carrying them. This is the source I will use if I cannot find them anywhere else. Order them during the winter or cooler months, because they will liquefy during the summer. They seem to know this, because the packaging kept it from leaking out.

The product is wonderful! Using it for 20-year-old son who burned arm and wrist and hates greasy feeling on his hands. The plastic tube makes it possible to apply exactly where you want it and not get it all over your hands. He IS USING THIS multiple times during the day as Dr. prescribed. THAT is why I ordered this version in the tube. Perfect! Warms quickly on skin contact and thereafter applies easily. Product is smaller in diameter than tube so it is easy to move inside the tube (actually sometimes slides all he way out.) But you don't have to warm it before you can get it up to apply it. So, I like this smaller diameter better. The coco butter is excellent. Absorbs quickly into skin so doesn't stain clothes etc. Makes skin soft and smooth. Description was accurate. And Shipping was fast, too.

My mom bought this when I was a kid. I'm now 48, I have her last stick from years ago. Rarely had a use for it, once in a while I would use for extremely dry spots. Worked great! I recently had major neck surgery and arm surgery. Left with large scars. Regular lotion is okay, but bothers my allergies, specifically allergy eyes. This pure cocoa butter does not affect my allergies in the least. It seems to be lightening the more minor scars and the area os rxtreme tightness around my wrist scar is feeling much better since I switched to this as opposed to regular lotions. I haven't seen it in a store in years. So glad Amazon has it. 100%pure, probably why its not affecting allergies and skin adversely.Highly recommend for sensitive skin/allergies.

I have found that cocoa butter is the very best defense against stretch marks during pregnancy. These sticks are pure cocoa butter, unlike many other brands, and are very inexpensive. In fact, I was paying 99c back in the 80's, and these sticks only come out to about $2 thirty five years later! They are even less if purchased in a little larger quantity.

Used just like a push up pop, rub all over your belly, hips, and bra area (can I say breasts here?) twice a day, 3 times if you have time. This cocoa butter is very moisturizing without being greasy, and smooths in easily if you like, and doesn't stain. I used it with all 4 of my pregnancies and have very few stretch marks. My youngest daughter is now 30 and just delivered her second baby and it has worked equally well for her.

Cocoa butter is also good as a facial moisturizer (I use a little coconut oil, smooth it in, then apply a little cocoa butter and smooth that in. My worry lines and creases have definitely decreased since I started this a couple of years ago). These cocoa butter sticks are also great used around cuticles before bed, and soothing on areas where you may have those winter dryness itchy spots. The uses are, well, pretty endless! Just remember, the cocoa butter will melt if you leave it in the heat, so not in a hot car, or in your purse during the summer, and keep it in your carry on luggage - not your checked bags. In case you can't tell, I very highly recommend this product!

I bought these because I really liked Cococare's Cocoa Butter Super Rich Cream, and I wanted a lip balm to match. Just be aware that the dispenser has the worst design I've ever laid hands on. You manually push up a dry stick from the bottom with your thumb, take the plug off the top, and (while keeping your thumb at the bottom to keep the stick raised) apply while the dry crumbly stick shakes around in the tube. I don't know why they can't do a twist-to-raise dispenser like most brands of chapstick, but what they have is pretty annoying.

The product itself is okay. You need to wait a bit for your body heat to warm it to apply, but so far it seems like an okay lip balm. I got this because I was tired of getting an awful taste in my mouth whenever I happened to get some ChapStick in my mouth. The cocoa butter stick does solve that problem -- I was hoping it'd taste like white chocolate, but it actually doesn't have much of a taste at all. But it does smell like rich chocolate. Good enough.

EDIT (a month later): Actually, this is pretty inadequate as a lip balm. It doesn't do a very good job of keeping your lips from chapping. Don't buy this as a lip balm.

This cocoa butter is a mainstay at our house. It is one of those products that multitasks. It soothes chapped lips, dry hands, knees sore from gardening and rough and caloused feet. It helps prevent stretch marks on pregnant women. It aids cat scratches and certain types of owies. It is frequently tossed in a purse or beach bag and it gets used as suntan oil and a host of other things. The handy tube makes application easy and convenient and the tube color makes it easy to find.
