I'll start this review off by saying I'm a big Milla Jovovich and Resident Evil fan.. when I saw this figure announced, I was thrilled - Hot Toys does some amazing stuff and a "good" resident evil/Milla figure is something I've wanted for a while.

When I saw the original photos shortly after the announcement, I wasn't too excited. The likeness didn't seem too great and this wasn't my favorite Alice costume (I'd much prefer the red-dress, the desert outfit from Resident Evil: Extinction or even the outfit from Resident Evil: Apocalypse.

I wasn't thrilled and hot-toys don't come cheap, so I passed. Seemed photos of the figure from people who got it months later, the quality seemed much improved and I decided to pick one up before they disappeared into "out of print" land like all the other Hot Toys collectibles.

The figure comes in at about 12" and with a regular Hot Toys base (black base with nametag - some of their premium figures seem to include a "premium stand", which isn't the case here).

Alice has molded-plastic hair (Hot Toys sometimes uses doll-like hair and sometimes uses molded hair). The hair is removable (connected via magnet on the top of her head) - a 2nd pair of hair is included but is VERY similar, just a bit shorter/brushed behind-the-ear style. It seems also like a waste to go as far as to give the figure removable hair if both are so close together in style/design. Fortunately even with removable hair, it's seemless looking.

Where the figure really shines is in the quality - everything looks VERY good, from skin-color to facial features to clothing. The face looks MUCH better in person than in some photos - the eyes has a glossy look to them as if they were real (same for the lipstick).Read more ›

This is my first Hot Toys collectible and I'm really excited about this lets start off with box the box itself is really awesome when you feel the box it feels like sandpaper where the rain drops are really weird but interesting once you open the box you will see two windows first you will see Alice and then when you look over to your left theres her katana, night stick and her jacket that you see in the beginnig of the movie so the figure itself is really realistic when you press on her its all fleshy except for her legs and arms which is ok I guess. the only thing I dont like is two things her profile the reason why I say that is becuase her vest kinda makes her look like she's been eating alot of donut's during the Zombie Out break hahahaha and the other thing is I wish that Hot Toys would of made more hair sculpts. other than those complaints I love this figure I highly doubt I will be getting anymore just becuase how expensive they are...=/ but other than that I love this figure alot my Alice she's basically all geared up ready for anything. now the accessories she has 18 =O 4 hands, two hair sculps, two sawed off shotguns, two revolver's, kantana, two blades two machines guns, night stick, jacket and plus the stand if you ask me that's to much to keep up hahahaha i'm just playing but still also just becareful about the two shotguns cause the shells actually come out which surprise me very small make sure you have a ziplock bage to put the extra accessories in or just leave it in the box also not to metion her hair is megenetic so you switch it out if you want to following with a instruction manual on how to do so its not difficult this figure is a must have for collectors or just fans of Resident Evil for parents absolutely not for kids cause of small parts and how mature the figure is its attended for younge adults and adults.

Can't speak to it's "play" value as an action figure, but it makes a great display item for a movie buff like myself. It IS a fully articulated figure...Think of it more like an "old-school" G.I. Joe and less like a "Barbie."
