Decent light

These are relatively cheap but are decently bright. There are 7 different light patterns (steady on + 6 blinking) for the 5 leds. My only complaints would be that they don't seem to be really water tight and the clip to hold them to fabric is weak. For a cheap, relatively bright light these fit the bill.

Great Lights for Service Dog Vests!

I'm a service dog handler and trainer. I run a service dog school and use these on our dog's equipment for night time safety. I have used these for years on my own service dog's backpacks. They clip on to the brand of dog backpack that I use perfectly. They are oversized and larger than most other brands that you find. The larger size actually locks into the wolfpacks brand dog backpack in the plastic slots perfectly. Other brands aren't quite long enough and tend to slip off, crash to the ground, and break. I've learned over the years that my dogs will occastionally catch the lights on the bottom of a chair and bend them 45 degrees in the opposite direction that the clip was designed to move and that snaps the clip, so I keep several extras on hand. With all the abuse that my service dogs put on these lights, I have never had to replace them due to product failure. I've had the clips last over a year without incident. The lens on the lights are pretty scratched and scrapped up from the hard abuse my dogs put them through. The product wasn't designed with German Shepherd brutality in mind. If the product can survive my German Shepherd abusing it on a daily basis, then I think it's generally well built. The product has survived for months on end in rain storms on her pack. A note about the weather proofing, it only works if you get the yellow rubber gasket back in it's place correctly, without kinking or pinching the seal so that it bunches up. The battery life is fantastic! I generally use the lights on average 2-6 hours a day. I change the batteries every 12- 18 months. I couldn't ask more of this product! For those that say the lights are hard to open, as is stated on the reviews of the blue lens version of this product, you need to use a coin(preferrabley a quarter) to open the lens case. Nothing else works!

Red Flashing 5 LED Bike, Runners, Joggers 7 Function Safety Light w/Arm Band & Bike Mount

I would have given this a 5 star easily if the arm band had velcroe on it! The band is impossible to put on by yourself becasue it is a buckle! I bought one off of another site and gave it to my sister and she loves it because hers has velcroe on it. I can't remember the site I bought it on. The light is great! It has 7 blinky modes and it does have a clip so you can clip it on the side or the back of your clothing. The other piece you can put it on the handle bars of a bike. If you get a velcroe band you are all set. (The AA batteries are easy to install).

Another use!

I bought this to use on my horse's tail when we ride at night. It is so lightweight I don't even think she realizes it is there and it really makes me feel safer to know that even another rider will be able to see us on a night ride. So far it has stayed in place and not fallen down or off of her tail. Very pleased with this and have other riders ask where I got mine so they could get one too.

Great Light!

I sent back a cheap arm band light that was suppose to get drivers attention , but it was worthless. Now this will do the job! It runs on 2 AA batteries, and it is bright. In fact, I just ordered two more. One for my bike and two for me when I walk three miles each morning. I'm of normal weight, 167 lbs, but the arm band that come with it is too small and worthless. It is about 3 inches too short. I guess Chinese have small arms, lol! Except for that point, I would have given it a 5 star rating. JMC

Excellent warning light.

This is good for a bike, or as a reminder in your house to do something. It looks, at first like it takes AAA batteries...and that's what I used at first (2 of them). But it DOES take 2xAA batteries. It also gives all sorts of led sequence patterns.....very eye catching!

I like the light, but the clip on the back is useless for running.

I bought this light to wear on my arm while running. The light itself if good - it's got several blinking modes and is pretty bright. There is a clip on the back of the light, but it's not a spring clip so it doesn't hold tight onto anything. The armband included is pretty useless because the clip on the back of the light doesn't hold tight on the armband and once I started moving, the weight of the light caused it to continually fall off off the arm band. The light is pretty heavy compared to other lights I've used. It also wouldn't secure to my reflective vest, waist band or another arm band that I have. I tried clipping it to the back of my running jacket and on the pocket and that didn't work either. I think if you were wearing pants (like jeans) with a waist band or belt it might work for walking, but I don't think it would stay on running shorts or pants. Since I'm not a biker, I can't speak to the included bike attachment. This isn't a total waste - I might keep one in the car as an emergency light or use it inside of the pumpkin next Halloween.

Flashing LED Light
