This cable works perfectly. I connect my kids Raspberry Pi switch to my switch to give the Pis internet access to download packages and updates. The bright redness of the cable makes it obvious that the cable is connected and in use. I also run it from one room to another.. No one has tripped on it while connected. It's most likely the redness that keeps everyone at bay.
