I was very surprised that something so simple could be made so poorly. The shred, rather than having clean straight edges like the photo, was crimped on either side so the edges looked like a wash board. In addition, the vast majority of the shred was still attached to other strands so it looked like someone took a strip of bacon and fed it half way into a paper shredder before pulling it out. Wide ribbons half shredded on one end were all over the place. Threw it away almost as soon as I received it. Not worth the trouble of a return.

I actually use these as vase fillers for arrangements I do. They're great. They do get pretty messy, so do be aware of that. But otherwise, they're great quality.
