I scoured the internet for a workout armband that fits my Galaxy S3 with Otterbox Commuter for hours it seemed until finally someone pointed me towards TuneBelt. Their site has a chart that helps you determine what model you will need. I literally just got this case a few minutes ago in the mail.

It took me a few seconds to figure out the best way to get the phone into the pouch and it fits so well. The plastic covering the screen is slightly lifted from the screen itself but the responsiveness is there. The armband is very subtle and looks smooth. I'm working out after work so I might come back and give a better review once I try it for the first time.

Wish TuneBelt would provide tracking for their shipments. Other than that one con, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

UPDATE SEP 2013: I'm still using it today and highly recommend this armband! It's perfect for navigating music, answering calls, but might not be great for trying to type (never had to type while working out, text messages can wait until I'm done :P). Not sure if this will work with an extended battery though.

This is exactly what I was looking for!! I used to have one of these Tune Belts for my BlackBerry, and it was great. My only issue was that I always had to take it out of its protective case, before putting it into the armband. Well, now that I have a Galaxy S4 with an Otterbox Defender, I needed a new armband. I searched and searched to find a case that would work, where I didn't need to take the Otterbox case off - and here we are! No need to take it off with this armband, you can just slide the phone into the armband, as it is.
This case is just perfect. Unlike some of the other cases, you can still use the side buttons with ease. Sure the sensitivity is decrease since you have several layers of plastic on top of the phone, but it is still manageable. I use an app when running, so I start up the app with the case on before the run, and I'm good to go. I can still pause the app or do anything else that I need to while still in the case. I have had no issues, even after several uses.
I really gave it a good test this past weekend while running and training for an obstacle race in the heat. I was out for about 2 hours, took the phone out of the case, and the phone was perfect. Sweat was not an issue at all. If you're looking for a good, carefree, well-made sport armband that holds a phone that's already in a case, this is the way to go! Well done Tune Belt!

I read a few of the reviews from folks saying that this did not fit their skinny arms, so when I received it and saw the styrofoam insert in the phone pouch, I did the quick math and decided to keep it in there with the phone when I was running, for a snug fit. It worked. It ALSO serves the dual purpose of blocking your arm sweat from getting through the neoprene (I think it's neoprene...feels like it). The back part, which rests against your arm WILL GET WET! It happens rather quickly (at least here in the Valley of the Sun), so keeping that styrofoam should help you get some extra life out of your phone as well.

No problems with my headphones getting tangled as I wrap them around the small flap next to the pouch. Able to work the side buttons on the phone with no problem. Able to use the touch screen through the shield with no problem.

Great purchase!

I have a Droid Razr Maxx with the Otterbox Commuter and this armband fits great. Snug but not at all hard to get in and out. Comfortable as well. I tried the Arkon sleeve previously and that didn't fit well for me. I'd highly recommend this product.

I spent quite a bit of time trying to find someone who could tell my what armband my Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 also known as Samsung YP-G70 would fit into. I saw a review of this armband on Youtube showing the new Galaxy Note fitting into it and I knew that the YP-G70 was just a tiny bit smaller than the Note.

It fits really well, holds snug and is covered all around. The three main buttons at the bottom are partially hidden while in the case and tough to activate but the screen is quite easy to use. I really just needed a way to carry my player securely while running and this works perfectly.

I didn't order the armband extension because I'm fairly lean and have a relatively thin frame for someone 6'4" but wish I did. The stock band just barely fits around my arm and the extension is cheap so if you are uncertain - get the extension. I did end up ordering it but had to pay another five bucks in shipping that I could have saved by paying the $1.50 in the first place.

Once again, letting everyone know, the Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 FITS this armband. Item model number: AB85

I can't give it five stars because the armband is just too small, no way this fits most people.

This armband fits my Razr with the Commuter Otter Case cover with out a problem. You can easily manage your screen through the clear plastic front. My only issue is that it is a B to get in and out of the case to answer the phone. The phone tends to stick to the front plastic cover. Also, if you have arm fat, you might want to spend the extra $2 and get the armband extender. I am not huge, and can still use the original band, but it is much more comfortable with the extender.

The Razr is a big phone, and with the Otter cover, it is slightly larger. This armband is a perfect fit. I would definitely recommend it to others.
