As printed on the label, these discs are manufactured by Mitsubishi Kagaku Media and have a max write speed of 4X (I verified this with the app "DVD Identifier"). When used on my LG drive, model WH10LS30, they work perfectly and I've had zero problems. However they may not work on your drive. I did some research on the web - looking at what drive manufactures have published and verified that these discs work with the above mentioned drive. I also have a newer/faster LG drive, model WH12LS39, and these disc are not compatible with that drive - I can't get a successful write. So you may want to do some of your own research before buying these or any other other brand of disc.

I have purchased these discs from Amazon as well as other vendors and have never had an issue with burn quality. over 300 burned and watched with no coasters to date. I am using an LG external drive. If I have any complaints it would be the price, but it is high no matter where you buy from.

These do have a logo and fine print on the outer part of the disc, but looks as though it is light enough to be printed over (have not tried yet)

I've learned over time to accept no substitutes and only buy Verbatim or it's parent brand (Mitsubishi). In particular for Blu-Ray but for others - bur times are a chunk of your life so why spend it trying to save a few bucks on a stack.

Note that Verbatim has several lines, from, loosely, "home use" through to long archive, so one can still save a few bucks (for movie OurChival) or ensure long retention (computer backups) as desired.

I tried a set of somewhat less expensive disks - they didn't work at all on my pretty universal machine that can handle about anything (if it works). I built this computer to my needs, and it'll work with just about anything i throw at it.

Bottom line: Verbatim disks are reliable, in my experience, and work with no issues. They're my go-to brand now.

the price of these were about $3 each so I thought I would give them a try. they are shipped from Asia so amazons prime shipping does not apply, though they did arrive earlier than expected. I have used about half of them and had only one failure but this could have been the copying program or the source material. I would defiantly buy again. hopefully the price will go down some more.

Used these discs to burn copies of 3 of my blu ray movies so far and they have worked perfectly. Got the 20 pack because I had never used blank Blu ray discs before , although I have been burning DVD for years. These dics are great so far , the picture and audio quality is just as good as the original blu ray. At around $4.00 per 50gb disc this is the best price you are going to find these. Am using DVDFAB and an LG BE14 burner and its just as easy as DVD. Am going to get the 50 pack when these are done to save a little more money per disc. Hopefully they all burn as well as the first 3. Would reccomend these to anyone!

Blank media this days are fallen on price a huge amount, but it is important to check from whom are you getting them because there are many copy (counterfeit) made in China and Taiwan which are not as good as the ones made in Japan. I think feedbacks on the seller profile are a good indicator about the quality of the product for sale.
