This Super Hits 16 CD is an exchange and it plays perfectly with both the audio and the video. I consider that lucky. I have purchased several Party Tyme CD's in the past and each one had pixel defects on every screen that interfered with reading the lyrics, but I have found that is a very common problem with Party Tyme CD's. Out of 4 Party Tyme CD's that I ordered at one time, only 1 CD played flawlessly - not a very good ratio. The most common problem seems to be the defects in the video portion rather than anything with the audio part. The only reason I keep buying them is because they have the most current collection of songs.

I'm not sure why there are reviews about it being a bad cd because it worked perfectly for us. Yes there were cuss words that were bleeped out on the lyrics but my kids have enough sense to skip past that part because we don't speak that way. The words were timed perfectly and we have no complaints. Can't wait until the next one comes out. BTW I got these used, from the warehouse and I couldn't be happier.

My parents purchased a karaoke machine for my daughter for christmas. I wasn't too sure about it as she is just starting to read so she can't really do the "reading" part of karaoke. They wanted to at least get one CD for her. I looked at several kids ones, but they seemed to babyish then I found this one. This was perfect! It has almost all the songs from the just dance 3 Wii game and she knows those words by heart! Perfect disc for young and old.

I love these Party Tyme discs. They're a lot cheaper than some of the major karaoke brands but still have some good quality compositions that sound very similar to the original tracks (and it's half the cost of a major-brand disc!) It is hard to find a good karaoke track of "Party Rock Anthem" and this disc has the best one I've heard so far. I look forward to purchasing all the subsequent Party Tyme Super Hits discs to keep my library current.
